About 2 years after having my last baby, I suffered a flare up and ended up getting stuck in the arm chair. I literally couldn't move. I went back to GP and got a physio referral as I thought there was maybe something they could do. The physio I saw then was rubbish. They said it was mechanical back pain (i.e. nothing to do with my symphysis pubis joint). I knew from the symptoms that it was more than 'just' back pain - let's face it, once you've had SPD, you know what it is. I went a couple of times but they did something to my back which made it worse, so I stopped going.
To be honest, I've suffered with back pain ever since having DD 11 years ago. I blame the epidural(although I'll never be able to prove it). My back regularly goes into spasm whilst ironing and stuff. I have quite a pronounced curve to my lower back under normal circumstances, so pregnancy makes that worse, but back pain in pregnancy is to be expected. My mum and brother have scoliosis of the spine, but mine is straight, so it's not like that's an issue either.
I can't even lift one leg up off the floor at the moment whilst I'm standing still. I can't put weight on my left leg without sharp pain, almost like sciatica as well. If my legs are slightly apart whilst laying flat, I can't move them back together again. Last night I got stuck climbing out of the bath for the first time. I'm just a mess
Oh gosh, that's awful
I had a !!!!!! night's sleep again as kept getting up for a wee about every hour and my hips were agony turning over and repositioning. My back also hurts. Bit better now I've got up though. The only comfortable position is on my back, but we're not meant to sleep like that. I have woken up on my back a few times though.Winnie_in_Pooh wrote: »There will be a new iphone available then too! DH is a microsoftie and swears by the new HTC Windows phones. I can't help but think they're great for geekery but a bit pointless for a basic user (ie me
) but the iphone is so user friendly!
Another one with dust in her eye Kittykate!
I hate Microsoft :rotfl: Well, Windows specifically. I'm definitely an Apple fan, way before it became trendy to have all the Apple accessories :rotfl: I won't ever own a Windows PC again. It sounds silly but I am a little put off with the iPhone in that it is so popular :rotfl:
I'll have a good play with some phones when I can get my body into town again0 -

Congratulations Dipsy! Glad everything went well.
I have just been on a half hour walk, might go on another this afternoon if can persuade OH when he is back from work. The weather is looking quite nice0 -
Ok for today I either need to go and rustle some sheep or get the lawnmower out as our grass has got so long that small children could hide in it. :rotfl: Absolutely dreading doing it as I know I will really pay for it later but needs must as it is disgraceful and cannot wait until OH gets home.0
