Big congratulations Keith, she's gorgeous. That's the 3rd announcment in 1 day all called Amelia, it's such a pretty name. :j

Welldone to Nic. That's shocking about being left like that. Hopefully she wasn't in too much discomfort and was busy enjoying mummy cuddles.

I had a good sleep last night. Only 1 trip to the loo and no hip pain for thd first night in months.

Sending labour vibes to Emma and vroom ANC any one else at the top who hasn't had their baby yet.

Amelia Grace finally emerged at 20:27 at 8lb 8oz and after the longest 2 1/2 minutes with the doctor we were finally able to hold our daughter.

    026.jpg

Two alarms had been sounded at the same time so we were then told that our daughter would be spending the next 48 hours in neonatal, before we were told that due to the clash of alarms we had the others notes!

Not happy with the way things went around 15 minutes following birth, as the midwife who had taken over at 6 suddenly clocked off and left Nic sat without her stitches done, nor cleaned up the room or even weighed the baby and went home. It was nearly 9.45 before someone arrived to help her breast feed, stitch her, etc. Despite me going looking for our midwife.

I'm at home now as shes staying in at least tonight, and Nic is still sat in the labour ward with the final midwife who is completing the forms.

Congratulations!! She is beautiful, and a lovely name-it must have been the name of the day yesterday lol Hopefully things will be a bit smoother for you all now, and the midwives give you and your partner the support you need with feeding etc x

Keith congrats, she is absolutely beautiful.

No labour twinges or anything for me, even after OH was on a promise. I wake up this morning a broken, sore woman with no sign of this boy:mad: I have a really sore groin area though, I think I have pulled a muscle;)

Congratulations Keith she is gorgeous, can't believe the way your OH was left though, that is shocking!!

Vroom good for you for giving it a go! I thought something had started happening last night for me after sitting on my ball, lots more tightenings and cramping and a bit of diawoowoo but alas nothing this morning! Planning on getting clary sage oil today and I have some lavendar oil so will get massaging! Baby has been very quiet these past couple of days but I'm presuming this is normal now back to little flutterings rather than big kicks (which is quite nice actually as those kicks were getting pretty painful!).

Labour vibes to all who need or want x
