Had my midwife appointment on Tuesday - all OK there. Measurements all fine and heartbeat good & strong. No results back from my GTT yet though - got to wait til next appointment in 3 weeks unless there's anything serious that the doc's will contact me about.

Feeling really tired this week - fall asleep on the sofa once DD has gone to bed most nights.

Re: paternity leave - when DD was born, DH just put in some hols as we couldn't afford for him to go down to the paternity leave wage for 2 weeks.

Labour/eviction vibes to all those that need them.

    Regards

10 weeks from the first twinge.

Babyboysmummy is doing ok. Little Alfred has finally gained some weight and that is a real relief for them all. He was really poorly last week as he developed an infection, but luckily he has responded well to his antibiotics and got over that scare!

I was just thinking about them yesterday.. hope mum and dad are doing well too!

10 weeks from first twinge is bad enough.. :( I am dreading the summer hols is last year is anything to go by.. Still not heard anything from physio after 5 weeks so will be nagging if nothing is through by the time the children go back to school on the 4h May.. I couldn't go to an appointment while they are off so may as well wait until they are back.

Perdi - don't be too nervous about the NCT classes. I was really nervous before mine stated and I really shouldn't have been. I've only got one class left and I've really enjoyed them, learnt a lot more than I could have from a book!

It went well thanks. Bump is measuring 25 cms and she found the heartbeat really easily. First time I have met the midwife as my last appointment someone was covering as she was on holiday but she was really friendly and nice. Next appointment she wants to go through a birth plan - scary stuff!:D

Hope everyone is well, my rib is absolutely killing again today - it's definitely not baby as she is on the other side kicking away. Typical that it didn't hurt yesterday so I couldn't ask midwife what it was!

    Hi Apricot - snap!
My measurement for 25 weeks today was 25cm, heartbeat ok and I even recorded it on my phone so hubby can hear :)
Also for my first 2 appointments I saw someone who was covering for my midwife, so I only properly met her today and she is much nicer (and much less scatty) :T
Just need to see her again in 3 weeks on 5th May so will be interesting now as the appointments get more regular which is reassuring.

Scary to think about the birth plan - but needs must I guess! Hope your ribs don't feel too bad... I get the odd ache but have been lucky so far.

    Lottie good luck for tomorrow!

Flower it's a shame but as others have said you can have 2 Xmas days then...

Perdi I have my ante natal classes next month with OH - it will be 2 evenings (during 2 weeks) and I am nervous too but excited as well as it will make it really real, especially for OH. I keep wondering what he will be like when the time comes, and just hope I am not rude to him :o

I'm seeing MW again next week when I will be 38+2 and we still haven't discussed the birth plan! Will make sure we get something written down next week. Silly isn't it, as in theory I could have had baby by now... And I could even have had him before my next appointment. At least yours is done nice and early :D

Labour vibes to everyone who requires them  I would like them after next week please  Though like Nic I don't want bubs born on the 29th please. So, stay where you are until after that bubs. Hmm doesn't give me that much longer til my due date anyway does it :rotfl:

I saw physio again today. Glad I did as I had done some mischief to my back again. Absolutely killed when she put it right  And I have to get on with my exercises again, which lapsed during moving. Felt a bit better afterwards. I was desperate for some Gaviscon, so had to go to the shop after. Sat at home after drinking coffee with OH's mum (who took me to the physio as I can't drive now), then after she went I started feeling sick. Have had lunch but still feel sick. Blerrrgh. Hope I don't loose my lunch :o Got a funny tummy now as well, great.

My mum is coming over tomorrow for the weekend. Really inconvenient but think she wants to come over before bubs is born. House is still not 100% from moving, and after my initial tidy up I now feel ill, so not sure how much more tidying I will do today. Need to load the dishwasher at some point and hoping it doesn't need emptying first. Some washing I did has just finished so I'll have to sort that out. Was going to hang it out but not sure what the weather is doing really. As well as being painful. I just hate not being able to do things as normal, I usually rush around like a mad thing before people come over making sure everything is neat and tidy, but think Mum may have to take us as she finds us :rotfl: I have plenty of excuses :o

Oh and congrats Nic on 38 weeks.

Hope Alfalfa is doing OK and you get your sweep VB

    Sorry if I've forgotten anyone.

Thanks, I know it'll be really beneficial, talking to strangers is just one of my hang ups I struggle with, I hate making phones calls too, usually make OH call the takeaway as I'm too scared!!

I think OH is starting to mildly freak out, he's managed to avoid thinking about any of the actual 'physical' side of things until now :p

Our classes are two week nights and two Saturdays, the saturdays run from 9 - 3:30 I think, which sounds like quite a tiring day!
