Apricot - I had a pain in the back of my ribs the other night, not sure if it was everything being squashed or a foot! I haven't really had rib kicks, but she's head down now.
Vroom - Hope you get your sweep.
Labour vibes to the boldies. Come on babies!
I've been trying to read and see how everyone is doing, but it's been an odd old week here. Labrynthitis came back. Then Sunday DH and my dad got all the furniture moved, the nursery painted and the cot, crib and changer unit built up (it's lovely :happylove). And the pram arrived on Monday.
Had my 32 week growth scan and follow up clinic appointment on Monday. Bump is doing well and is currently estimated at 4 pounds
However, the sonographer was spending ages trying to see something, turns out my planceta is lying low but she couldn't see the bottom of it. So had to go back after clinic appointment with a full bladder to try and get girly up out of the way. She was being stubborn and didn't want to shift! We finally got there though. It was then back to the clinic to see the doctor again who said that although normally my placenta would be far enough away, part of it is encroaching. So I have another scan booked for 36 weeks. The hope is it won't be a problem by then, but on the off chance it is, I'll have to have a section.
Saw my GP the next day about the heartburn I've been getting at night, despite the omeprazole and got gavison, which has to be the most disgusting thing ever! He told me to keep an eye on my bp as there is still a trace of protein in my urine. But nothing to worry about.
And finally got our antenatal classes booked. Only thing is we start them when I'm 37+1 and it's a 4 week block. :rotfl:
So yeah, strange week all in all!
The light bit where her mouth is is her cord. And she's still spending most of her time with a foot on her nose and a hand at her face. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

. Might not be ideal but it works great for us.
Thats a good idea, we could do the whole Christmas thing on Boxing Day instead.
He has to work every other Christmas so in a way I am glad he will miss the first Christmas when baby will only be around 3 months old, and then he can be there for the next Christmas when baby will be alot more aware of what is going on at around 15 months old.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Lovely photos ladies
Hope Alfalfa is ok, and goodluck to all the ladies who need it.
Got my first NCT class tonight, feeling a bit nervous about talking to people! I have terrible social anxiety but really need to make a few 'mum' friends
Little miss was wriggling non-stop Mon & Tues, then yesterday I woke up with cramps so I guess she's stretched things out to her liking now lol.
Physio tomorrow, apparently I will ache after it0 -

It was actually for carpal tunnel. I already had tendonitis in my elbow so it was no big surprise. At my first appointment last week though she suggested that most of the carpal tunnel symptoms were being caused by my posture pinching nerves. So she booked me in for a long session tomorrow to work on my neck shoulders and back. She said I'll be cursing her afterwards0 -
Is that 10 weeks pregnant or 10 weeks from the first twinge?
I hated not being able to get my pants on.. or off.. last summer.. and I REFUSED to let anyone help. I thought the worst bit was not being able to get my legs into bed on a night.. I had to give in eventually and allow OH to help me.. and very night I cried becasue I hate feeling reliant on anyone for anything!
10 weeks from the first twinge.alwayspuzzled wrote: »I'm 33wks and I had so many on Friday night I started timing them - regular as clockwork every 3 mins lasting 1 min each, so I phoned labour ward just in case, they advised maybe overdone it at work, take 2 paracetamol, have warm bath (I wish - we've only got a shower:() and try to sleep, if pains got worse (were VERY uncomfortable but not actually painful IYSWIM) or if still ongoing 2-3 hrs later phone back with a view to going in for a check, managed to fall asleep and was back to normal Saturday.
Thanks. I had a bath, went to bed to rest and they still kept coming all night. I had them from about 4pm until midnight when I fell asleep. I've had nothing since. I discussed it with my midwife this morning and she said if it happens again I've to phone the labour ward. However, she said that it is unlikely that I will be in any doubt as to whether it's the real thing. Was just a little worrying.Puzzledbubbles wrote: »has anyone had an update from the lady who had the very early baby? Babyboysmummy is doing ok. Little Alfred has finally gained some weight and that is a real relief for them all. He was really poorly last week as he developed an infection, but luckily he has responded well to his antibiotics and got over that scare!
I had my 28 weeks appointment today (28+5) so have had my bloods done. Got my anti-d on Monday. Bump is measuring spot on for dates. I feel like it's getting close now. Midwife was talking about how birth should be nice and easy this time, but that my main worry would be getting to the hospital in time  I'm actually starting to feel nervous about birth. I think I've made up my mind I'm not going to ask for induction, but just wait for it to happen by itself.
Hope all other bumps and ladies are doing ok xOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Vroom - hope the appointment goes well. I don't get another one till next week and had my last one at 38 weeks.
Garnetlady - lovely scan pic, glad it all went well apart from the potential placenta issue.
Flower - having Christmas on boxing day sounds like a good idea. Baby won't know and you can make it just as special.
Perdi - hope the NCT class goes well!
OH keeps saying he is going to break my waters...not sure he knows how lol. Hopefully he is taking me for lunch in a min yay.0 -
GL- Lovely pic.
Flower- Sounds a brilliant idea, and can't see a thing wrong with it.My husband used to work night shift, and for three years, our relationship was based on post-it notes, dictaphone messages, and dinner/breakfast in the oven. If we did that for 3 years- always celebrating stuff on the wrong day as well, work meant I worked Christmas Day last year- you can too! It's an extra Christmas Day.0
