Goodluck tomorrow lotty. Hope it all goes quickly for you.

Teenie- I've thought this baby is coming on the 3rd of May too. Might see you there ;)

I really don't want the baby to come on the 29th though.I'm fed up with Royal wedding already, I really don't give a fig about them. If bubs comes on the 29th it will have to put up with their anniversary as a reminder.
I've already told some folk on Facebook who were asking about names that I'd picked Kate or William lol. No chance!!!

Apricot how did your 25 week appointment go yesterday? I have mine today, pee pot at the ready just hope it gets there safely :D

It went well thanks. Bump is measuring 25 cms and she found the heartbeat really easily. First time I have met the midwife as my last appointment someone was covering as she was on holiday but she was really friendly and nice. Next appointment she wants to go through a birth plan - scary stuff!:D

Hope everyone is well, my rib is absolutely killing again today - it's definitely not baby as she is on the other side kicking away. Typical that it didn't hurt yesterday so I couldn't ask midwife what it was!

Nic - if baby comes on the 29th you could always call him Prince if it's a boy?:rotfl:

lotty - good luck for tomorrow, very exciting!

Bella - sending labour vibes your way, hope you get the birth centre like you want.

One of my very good friends little boys is called William and he is 1 and even before i was pregnant her and her hubby always said i should have a little girl so they can be boyfriend and girlfriend hehe, so maybe i should call her Kate.

Hello hope everybody is doing well today. :D

I may have this wrong as am not sleeping at all just now and am getting a bit confused at times but am sure Dipsy is booked in for a section today....if so good luck with it :). Both of my boys were delivered that way. :).

Slightly weird moment last night! Only 7 weeks, so not even showing much to be honest. Let the dogs in last night, and Lab kept trying to lie with her paw protectively on my stomach- if I lifted it off, I got a look, and she'd put it back on again...
If I've been sick in the past she's always quick to snuggle up against me and lick my hand.

Re: Paternity pay, hubby is taking 2 weeks hol and hopefully 2 weeks paternity pay, that's the plan anyway. I guess we will have to manage on the lower pay whilst he's on paternity. He's not allowed to take his normal holidays whenever he wants to unfortunately, has to be one week per quarter or something which is a pain. So he was forced to take one week off pre April, then he chose 2 weeks hol + 2 weeks paternity in Summer, then 1 week Christmas. So we'd rather be together for the month when baby arrives if the next time he's off will only be Christmas, if that makes sense :o

Makes sense :D this is exactly what we were going to do, but cant now! The plan was to have some savings to see us through OH being on paternity, but as hes not entitled to it that idea is out the window!!
Also OH wont be here on babys first Christmas :( he'll be at work.

oooh Wendz good job you're not having a boy too - thats what our boy is going to be called!:D Its my grandad's name and the only name we could agree on.

I am seeing my MW this afternoon, hoping for a sweep, but I am not hopeful she will give me one.

Flower my OH is away a lot due to his job and has quite often missed the big things like birthdays and Christmas and all of the others so all we do is celebrate anyway and then make sure we set aside a day when he gets back to redo the day as a family. :D. Might not be ideal but it works great for us. :)

Vroom do you have a wardrobe you can hide in to keep you safe from your cousin? :rotfl:
