Good luck for today Alfalfa and good luck Dipsy for the section tomorrow.
Hope everybody is feeling well.
I'm fast approaching 29 weeks and feeling more and more tired - have next week off due to school hols so only another 5 more weeks left at work for me :j (thankfully cos everyone is irritating me at the moment!)
Looking at the Boots 3 for 2 offers as we still have a monitor, bouncer or rocker and some sort of gym/playmat left to get.
Am also tempted to get a bumbo as they are on 3 for 2 - these were just coming on to the market when I had DD so I missed getting one back then so think I may grab one now.
Also having trouble finding fitted sheets for my moses basket - think I just went on ebay last time but anyone got any other ideas?0 -

He is worrying because he has 2 weeks paternity leave booked which means he wont get his full wage so it will hurt a little but we should be ok, I hope!
My DH was shocked/furious when he realised how little he'll be getting for the two week paternity leave supermaiden so much so he's tempted just to take the two weeks from his holiday. I'm trying to convince him not too as I'm sure the time at home will be worth more than the loss in wages in the end. Also having trouble finding fitted sheets for my moses basket - think I just went on ebay last time but anyone got any other ideas?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Not sure if it will be of any use to you at all GB but I got quite a few yesterday from Mothercare as their Moses basket/crib sheets are part of their buy 1 get 1 free bedding range. They are also doing their blankets buy 1 get one half price
they are not the cheapest ones out there by any means but they do wash and dry really well so not too bad really

As far as I'm aware my OH's company pay 2 weeks full pay for paternity leave (as do mine) - we are obviously lucky on this - can understand why it might be easier to just take 2 weeks annual leave if you are not getting full pay
I've had two people suggest pillow covers to me as they are easy to get on and to clean.
I've heard this too - I used flannelette fitted sheets for my last 2 though and found them very easy to get on and nice and soft after washing - tbh they are in the moses basket for such a short time (my kids were anyway) can see why people make do with pillowcases.0 -

Yep it is pretty crap!! My DH is having to take it as hols as he would be losing far too much money over the 2 weeks and we just couldn't afford it."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
