Thanks for the kind words ladies- made me a bit weepy!
Bella2121, I've said exactly the same to my OH, I just keep saying that I don't think the baby wants to come out so i'll just keep my legs crossed so it can't!
Koalamummy, thanks for the reassurance, my sister and mam just laughed at me when I started panicking about embarrassing myself, they said exactly the same- the midwives will have seen it hundreds of times and won't bat an eyelid at anything.
Vroombroom- yay for 39 weeks! Let's hope mini vroom decides to make an appearance soon x0 -
hopefully soon. Hopefully once he is here me, you and Princess C can meet up with all the new babes. We're not far from each other x:j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0

It's my dream to have a 10ft tank one day, but will have to wait until we own our own house. I was very tempted to get a 7ft but got to be realistic about moving, a 6ft is more sensible.
There's no danger cleaning fish tanks out when pregnant so don't worry. However I haven't done mine for a while - my OH has taken on that job and in turn he has become much more enthusiastic about the fish and easier to convince on bigger tanks
TBH hun a bigger tank is so much easier to look after than a smaller tank. Because of the higher volume of water, the water conditions are more stable, and better for the fish. I don't know what you keep in your biorb but they must be fairly small fish? I agree it must be a nightmare to clean the curved sides lol.
We have a long scraper just to clean the sides, and a long gravel vac which we do at the same time as a waterchange. Very easy and doesn't take long.
We do 50% waterchanges on all the tanks once a week, and over filter all the tanks as well. This is mainly because we keep large cichlids and plecs and they are very messy and poop machines
Cant remember dimensions properly- think it's something like 5ft x4ftx4ft.... It's my partners- I acquired a liking for fish when I met him. (The grumpy mutts are mine, so we compromise!) Gravel base with a couple of big rocks and couple of small plastic plants so babies can hide. Real plants turned out to be a pain, continually cleaning them. Have fighting fish (he preens all day at himself), several variations of guppys and gouramis, neons, cardinals, minnows, mickey mouse platys, mollies, and one with huge eyes that's black- I can't remember the breed. They seem to get along okay- had a few problems with scissortails hassling some of the smaller ones in the past.
Tank was built for the house, and rests on 2 inch polysyrene block, with veneer around to hide it. Big tank very easy to look after- we don't need to clean frequently, a few big cleans a year. Mainly just time-consuming! Two Eheim external filters are in a box beside the tank. Red lights as well as standard. Have a few goldfish in a separate tank also.
Back to baby stuff now. Was working yestarday (am now, but fairly boring quiet job!), and then college, and finally got home at 2330. My partner had made me curried potatoes, which came straight back up. First time that's happened- think it was probably due to tiredness and the time of night. I had been snacking and taking water all day.
Feeling very tight across my stomach all day, and cramping a bit.0 -

That'd be nice, I'm the first of my friends to have a baby so have no other new Mama's around me apart from my sister who's kids are 4 and 2. We'll have to meet up in the nice weather and go for an ice cream!x0 -
