    Afternoon everyone.

Glad you are feeling a bit better today Vroom.

Digital - your fish tanks sound amazing and i am sure baby will love watching them.

Went for lunch today with mum, sister and OH which was very nice. Then went to sainsburys and managed to slip on something in the aisle and land on my bum...was a bit of a shock so got a bit upset. OH made me go report it just in case i have any longer term injuries but i think I am OK. They did offer to call me an ambulance when they realised i was almost 9 months pregnant but baby has been wriggling away this afternoon so think she is fine.

Oh gosh hun, hope you're OK. I'm sure bubs will be fine as you landed on your bum, but ouchy x

Apricot/digi- I've a massive fishtank, takes 1600 litres of water. I vaguely remember something being said about it not being advisable to clean it out since I'm pregnant- apparantly there is a (miniscule) risk from certain types of algae etc in the tank. Not to mention it takes hours to empty and refill!

    Wendz- Glad you're okay.

    Evening all

Hope your ok Wendz,it sounded sore

Digi- how do you go about cleaning a tank that size out? We have a 60l Biorb and I find that hard going. OH would like a proper big tank, but I said no incase I was left to clean it out.

I went swimming with my DD today,it was a great feeling in the water,it takes all the weight. I'm taking DS tomorrow.he hasn't been since a baby so I need to get him used to it again.

All fine at the MW. Bp nice and low and no swelling.bubs is head down but still transverse. I'm only 4/5th engaged but she said that's fine for a 2nd or 3rd baby as they usually don't engage until labour.

Teenie your bubs might just be in a funny position? I keep finding that she goes from seeming really big some days to alot smaller on others :)

LOL nah my bump has definately got much bigger over the past week, everyone has noticed it. Great news on being engaged!!! Must be such a relief. :j

Nic good news about bubs being head down and bp etc being good. Just a waiting game for us now huh!!

Wendz ((hugs)) for your fall, no wonder you were upset you must have got such a shock!:(

There has been no let up with these tightenings today they are so uncomfortable think I'll have to have a bath and see if it helps.

Awesome! What do you keep in it and what are the dimensions?
It's my dream to have a 10ft tank one day, but will have to wait until we own our own house. I was very tempted to get a 7ft but got to be realistic about moving, a 6ft is more sensible.

There's no danger cleaning fish tanks out when pregnant so don't worry. However I haven't done mine for a while - my OH has taken on that job and in turn he has become much more enthusiastic about the fish and easier to convince on bigger tanks ;)

TBH hun a bigger tank is so much easier to look after than a smaller tank. Because of the higher volume of water, the water conditions are more stable, and better for the fish. I don't know what you keep in your biorb but they must be fairly small fish? I agree it must be a nightmare to clean the curved sides lol.

We have a long scraper just to clean the sides, and a long gravel vac which we do at the same time as a waterchange. Very easy and doesn't take long.

We do 50% waterchanges on all the tanks once a week, and over filter all the tanks as well. This is mainly because we keep large cichlids and plecs and they are very messy and poop machines :D

Sparkle - I am just using the free changing bag from Boots, also got one with my pushchair which i may use as well.

Looking forward to watching One Born every minute tonight even though it is a repeat. Getting a bit scary watching it now.

I got this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tiny-Tillia-Embroidered-Changing-Shoulder/dp/B002GWVGPI/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1302550059&sr=8-5 as I wanted one that wasn't too unlike the style I would usually have but not anything bright pink so DH can still carry :) It does seem very roomy, the only thing I would say is that (like many bags) the insulated bottle compartment doesn't hold the TT bottles as its slightly too small, however I've been given separate bottle holders anyway.

Thanks guys, gives me some ideas, it's hard as buying online you can't really tell what you are buying, but locally I can only think of Mothercare and Boots to have a look in anyway...

Alfalfa good luck for tomorrow, will be thinking of you! Any luck with the wallet search?

Wendz hope you don't get any bruising, sounds really sore...

Apricot hope you find some other stuff online, and she learns a lesson! I managed to find some great baby items at a boot fair this weekend - £0.20p per item! A whole newborn set of 3 pieces for £0.60p, a pair of trousers £0.20p, and t-shirt that amazingly said Sweet Pea on it, we were SO excited to find it :jSee if you have any boot fairs or parenting group sales near you?

Tummy quite sore today and last night must have got up around 6 or 7 times, slept so badly.

So having an early dinner, freshly made bed and might be in bed by 9 :o Just hope hubby doesn't come back from watching football too late - he says he'll be quiet though - depends how many pints are involved:p

    Hello again. :D

Vroom glad you are feeling better today

Apricot sorry the seller is messing you about on bay:(

Digital congrats on reaching full term it must be a relief. :). Reaching that stage is one of my missions with this pregnancy as I have never made it there yet

Nic and Teeni hope things get moving for you both soon :)

Wendz hope you are feeling better after the fall and there is no lasting problems.

Alfalfa good luck for tomorrow. :)

Not sure if it will be of any use to anybody but the 3 for 2 offer in Boots just now is really good just now. :). I have been strongly advised against breast feeding and managed to save myself a small fortune by stockpiling bottles and the bits and pieces that I will need for them.

Mothercare are also doing several good deals on sheets and bedding for anybody who has still to buy theirs. :)

Hope everybody else is doing well. :D

Thanks for reminding me about the 3 for 2 Boots website crashes my computer in work so I keep forgetting.

Can I be nosey and ask why you've been advised against bf? Don't answer if it's too personal :o
