I know Apricot - roll on Thursday!!0
-
Hey Peeps,
I wrote a lovely message this morning but stupid phone died and ended up not wanting to write it again lol.
Anyways, hope everyone with SPD is coping and everyone who is suffering (Vroom hope you are better today) has a good day and is able to rest!
I'm determined that i am going to start focusing on positives, i am worried about Elvis and worried about how things are going in there and just want everything to be ok, but i think its starting to get me down and i have found myself having negative thoughts about Elvis and pregnancy and everything.
Considering its something that we wanted so badly this is really not good so i've decided that i now need to remain positve and focus on this little miracle in my belly and how much this baby is wanted by us and our (important) family members.
So i am going to stop the moaning and replace it with positives - yes i will have bad days and pain and things but i think its time now for me to think positve becuase ive still got 22 weeks to go at least and thats a long time to worry and make myself (and those around me) sad.
So, onwards and upwrads.
Apricot sorry you were done, silly ebay - ive been looking at clothing bundles but not sure what is a good price since we have still got lots of shops to check and since friends have asked for a gift list for a baby shower i dont know if i should put clothes and things on there.
Pigpen and all you other ladies with more than one child, i admire you so much, OH and i are almost certain that this will be an only child, kinda sad but financially and house wise its a must so unless i get mega broody its one for us - but at the same time juggling all those children is a very daunting task
Hope everyone has a good afternoon
Puzzled x0 -
Afternoon everyone, just going to delurk for a mo. I really should leave this thread seeing as Henry is 3.5 weeks now, but i'm not ready to let go yet
If you're looking at buying clothing bundles, i bought loads from the for sale/trade forum over on HUKD. Sellers don't get charged fees for selling, so the prices are generally really good. I intend on putting my maternity clothes on there when i get round to sorting them out....or finding time to
I'll post the link and if its not allowed then i'm sure it will be removed.

hey guys feeling a lot better today thanks, made it down the stairs at least! Been out for a potter with my older dog (he walks the same pace as me bless him haha).
Seeing midwife on Thursday so will see what she says. I'm 39 weeks tomorrow but knowing my luck the baby will go over haha. I don want to be stuck in hospital over Easter either:(:j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0 -
LOL Apricot, the trouble is I already have three tanks, one of which is over 600 litres :rotfl: This one is to replace that one though, to be fair. I'm sure bubs will love watching the fish as much as mummy and daddy do
Daddy will have to do the maintenance for a while, but I shall be supervising0 -

Great that you're feeling better today vroombroom and fingers crossed your baby comes soon- I'm counting down the hours until I get induced tomorrow afternoon!
I finally feel heavily pregnant, my legs are killing me and I just feel like a big blubber today. It's only taken reaching 41+5 to make me realise that perhaps I'm not able to do everything I could do pre-pregnancy. I couldn't lift up the washing basket today ( I know I shouldn't even try) and had to shout for OH who came and sorted out the washing and hung it out whilst I've sat on the sofa catching up on Glee.
Now I'm doing a bit of last minute shopping online, OH's birthday is Friday and even though he says he doesn't want a present because he'll be getting a baby (at last!) I've decided to buy him a nice new wallet as his is looking a bit tatty. However, I've now realised I have no enthusiasm for shopping and can't be bothered looking round for one! Can anyone recommend somewhere for a decent leather wallet????:D0 -

:mad:Im still here and top of the list apart from the boldies:eek:
Thought i had some twinges yesterday at work and nearly went home to pack my bag but they amounted to nothing.
Still it forced me to sort out the baby clothes and get them ready with a pack of nappies for the hospital.
Got my bag out, now i just have to put stuff in it:rotfl:
Im sure i'll be here in 2 week still:mad:#
Hope everyone is feeling well today, my SPD seems to have calmed down a little now im getting nearer, still in pain but nothing like the last 10 weeks:T
No queue jumping please, I AM NEXT!!!!!!!:rotfl:0 -
Cheers pigpen, forgot about using quidco!0

Afternoon ladies&bumps,
Thanks for all the well wishesI'm now fully engaged, mw said she couldn't find my cervix and that it must be up behind babies head? She still said that she has given me a good sweep though lol (didn't know that was possible without touching the cervix but hey ho) and said that I'm nice and err 'soft' down there which is a good sign apparently. She also said that bubs head is really low down so should be easier in delivery so fingers crossed.
Teenie your bubs might just be in a funny position? I keep finding that she goes from seeming really big some days to alot smaller on others
Digi congrats on being full term :j great feeling isn't it! My friends LO LOVED their fish tank, would keep her quiet for ages, so really, your just being sensible ordering it now
Apricot Its things like that that stop me using ebay-so annoying, whats the point in listing something if your going to withdraw it after, glad she's lost her fees
Lablover thats a good point about rocking stands with dogs, mine should be ok but would be a bit of a worry if the dog was any bigger! But then I'm more worried that the cats will think it looks a bit comfy lol. My OH keeps saying that he's proud of how well I'm coping too, nice to hear, until he says 'are you sure you don't want to just go straight to epidural in labour? I'm not sure if a natural birth is for you' lol, I'm going to have to prove him wrong now
Puzzled I think its completely normal to feel like that, your still at a stage where it probably hasn't hit home that you are carrying a LO yet, if I'm honest, I probably didn't relax until about 24weeks ish when my LO started kicking (lots!) and until then, I just didn't want to get my hopes up. Give it a few weeks and I'm sure you'll feel a bit more positive, especially after your 20week scan
VB glad you're feeling better today xx
Wonder how Holly Willoughbooby's getting on? I've got a friend coming round in a couple of hours to do my hair (bubye roots!) so will feel I'm ready then!
Hope your all ok xxxxxxx£2000/£9000=22.2%0
