Updated on the list I posted this morning!

This is all so confusing. For the last 5 years (almost) I have had the same employer - however I have been employed by 3 different companies (all of whom have the same director) I was transferred from the first to the second under TUPE (or something) but when second company went into administration I was made redundant and then re-employed by this company.

I still have a contract from my previous employment, my wages have not changed and neither has my holiday entitlement etc so I am working under those old conditions in theory?

This is what happens when you work for a family business and nobody bothers to do anything properly!

Ugh, that is complicated. I'm not a HR professional, just do some admin so have limited knowledge. You might be best posting on the employment board as they have some pretty knowledgable peeps there.

Mine is all black , much to my mothers disgust (how can you put a baby in a black pram , shock horror ) But I have a bright green pram blanket and green and pink changing bag. I only got the black because we are team yellow , and OH has allready mentioned baby number two ....... Lol . We were offered a moses basket aswell but are currently trying to sell our one bed flat (for something bigger ) and want to try and double up things so the flat isnt cluttered. Lol-You dont need to get OH to dig it out , I'l ask my mum to measure it next time shes up the loft. Its like mothercare up there , she goes up everyday with her check list and sees what we have in stock ,bless !
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

  • Aw bless her, thats fair enough, its looking unlikely that we would have a second so we were ok to pick a colour, everything else is black though (like the pushchair section and car seat), think it looks quite smart like that tbh. I really fancy a play with it though as I think bubs will come and I wont know how to use her pram lol! So will see if I can get it out :)

I've been stuck upstairs most of the morning, it was too painful to go down the stairs. Just had to ring my mam to get her to drive 11 miles to help me:(

Aw poor you VB , hugs xx
I wasnt even thinking about having baby no1 , came as a total shock. Now OH keeps dropping hints about baby 2. Did you get the parasol Bella ? I keep debating about it , but then baby will be in carrycot , so not sure if we will need one. Had my little nephew on Sunday , he is great and so easy to look after ( he is 3) he keeps asking if I could please make baby a boy so he has someone to play with lol. One thing looking after him has taught me is TISSUES, I never seem to have enough with me , He gets runny eyes when the sun is to bright , or if its too windy . He gets a runny nose all the time , he sticks his hands in bark and dirt and then cries cause he has dirt on his hand . Baby wipes are too moist for runny nose and cant be used on his eyes. I ran out yesterday and had to use my hand and wipe on leggings , by the time we got home I had mashed banana , ice cream , snotters , tears ,drool all over my leggings
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Nic hope you are feeling better soon, I agree with koalamummy headache pain like the one you are describing is absolutely terrible, I got them midway through my pregnancy and they are awful :( hope it clears soon x

My pregnancy this time i have to say has been so much easier than my first. I have been sick pretty much right through this time again but it really hasn't been as bad as it was first time round. I did suffer with spd with my first pregnancy too but I have been pretty lucky again this time as the only niggles I am getting are the ones everyone gets around this time with very painful hips at nights. Yes the sleepless nights are a pain in the bum but hey there are going to be so many more sleepless nights when bubs arrives so I suppose it's good just getting accustomed to it :D. This is my last pregnancy so I just need to enjoy it and remember what it is like growing a baby inside of me, as I wont experience it again (Nic are your proud of me LOL!!!

Very proud lol. It's hard not to get fed up and want it over with. But I remember that feeling of loss I had after the baby was born. I missed feeling it inside me. This is my last pregnancy too and it's sad I'll never feel like this again. I'm looking forward to meeting my baby too though.

hi everyone, hope you are all well.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I figured you 'mum-to-be's are the experts.
My friend is expecting her first baby in July. My other friends are I are chipping in to buy her a bouncer/vibrating/rocker chair for the littl'un as a baby shower present.
I looked on Monthercare website but there are so many out there, different styles and suitable for different ages.
Ideally we want to get one suitable for use from newborn.
Can anyone reccommend a good one??
    thanks so much :)
