I think I've confused my company. It's largely a male workforce- they don't really cater for women, and a pregnant woman is keeping them very, very busy.... :) They don't know anything about their maternity policy- apparantly they've never had to use it!

Vroombroom- I hope you feel a little better soon.

Lirin-Im the same , I work with 25 men , lol. They had to blow the dust off the maternity guidelines :rotfl: BettyB- I havent a clue , but Im sure other people will , My sister is buying us a rocker that vibrates. I do fancy a swinging one but my wee nephew was petrified of it. Something bright would do the job I would imagine. I used to think I would want all babies things to be cream and brown and matching but now Im having one I would like a nice bright rocker/bouncer with loads of bright things for baby to touch etc
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Thanks for the advice. I'm aiming to get a vibrating one rather than a swinging one.

    any thought on this one?

  • Afternoon everyone

Labour vibes to the boldies and sympathies to those in pain :(

I've been very lucky with all my pregnancies so far so I can't really grumble but would say this one has been the hardest due to the fact that I'm so old now :rotfl:just get achey and tired quicker I guess.

Went to my hospital appointment this morning for my 28 week shot of anti d - the injection stung a bit but hasn't given me any more probs yet.

Deb/Apricot - I chose the M&P Sola in grass this time (I've had various different prams in the past)

Haven't used it yet but I was after something lightweight and easy to push (I am quite small) so this was the easiest to push I found - fingers crossed it does the trick - I'm looking forward to using it!

That's lovely bettyB - good that the toy bar comes off too so when baby is little she needn't have it on there if it gets in the way of getting baby in and out. I'd be thrilled to get that as a gift :D

BettyB-I second what Apricot has said. I would love to receive that as a gift. It ticks all the boxes really.

28 weeks today I actually feel like my stomach is going to split in two. I think Im growing a monster. I have a tiny bump but its very compact and can feel ever twist and turn from bubs.

thanks so much :) I have sent my friends links to a few different ones, including that one, on Mothercare website and hopefully we will get it soon!

Lablover, my friend is 28 weeks as well, she has quite a big bump, like she's hiding a football under her dress (her words!) :rotfl:
We are all so excited about being 'aunties' for the first time :D

My MIL thinks we'll need it too..... I'm not sure, the footmuff looks like it may be warm enough when the baby is lying flat?

    xDx
