Congrats on Team Pink Perdi, lovely scan pics as well:T

Special poos? OH says all mine are special and could be used as chemical weapons:p

I don't care about ice creams soft or not, if you need it have it :rotfl:

I can't stand for long digital, or walk for long, in fact the only thing I can do for a long time is sit on my bum! It is worse if standing in one position, like hanging washing out.

Re finding out, I've said before that I always said in the past I would never find out, but as this will be my only pregnancy (I'm so not doing this again, I'm too old!) I said I didn't mind and let OH decide...thankfully he wanted to! I'd kinda hoped for a girl so glad I found it was a boy then instead of at the birth! We didn't really mind either way as I consider myself blessed to be having a first baby at my age!
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

Ooh sounds promising Lottie (not that I have any experience with these things!)

Aw im really bored now - fancying chips from the beach for tonight but that would involve a 15 minute drive past about ten other chip shops so not sure if I can get OH to agree!

Congrats on Team Pink, Perdi, and lovely pic :)

Anyone else in late 3rd tri getting really bad leg/thigh cramps? Think it's because I stood for too long in the garden, but get them quite a lot anyway, and they are really painful. Also feels like a pulled muscle or something in my inner hip joint. Ouch. Also wondering whether the stabs/pressure I've been feeling in my foof is bubs engaging further... Hope so.

I've been getting really bad pains in my foof where they shoot right down and then into my back passage. They say it's a water infection. I think not. Am due to see the midwife tomorrow for my follow up following discharge from hospital where I shall inform her that the antibiotics they gave me for this supposed 'water infection' aren't working and the pains are getting worse.

Apart from that though I appear to be a pregnant snorer. To the point where it is really affecting the hubby's sleep. I don't know what to do. I know there isn't really much that I can do about it but it makes me feel poo knowing he has to go into another room to get some sleep.

Am feeling very emotional and isolated at the moment. Doesn't feel like anyone really understands how i'm feeling or cares. Woe is me :(

Yeah digital I get a lot of cramp at the top of my thighs and around my hips too, just another joy of pregnancy!;)

As for the stabbing pain in your lady area I'm not sure if it is baby engaging further or not, I was in a lot of pain with this with DD but she didn't engage until I was in labour. I have been getting it for a few weeks now but bubs was just in my pelvis and no more. I presume though it's your body just getting ready, it is one of the worst sensations ever though isn't it?!

aw hun :( we all know how you're feeling so just rant away. My DH was just saying to me that my snoring was bad the other night and nothing was working to stop it :o the thing is there is nothing we can do. I have found I go from producing loads of saliva when i first go to sleep (so bad I wake up coughing as I keep choking on it LOL) so waking up with a really horrible dry mouth yuck!

    Hi Lynn,

this is my first so not sure if i am much use but i had cramping on and off since the start (am 18 weeks now) and midwife has said it is my body adjusting.

Although if you are concerned or have any other symptoms could you call NHS direct?

Aww Charlie rant away on here, I am sure most of us understand. I certainly do.

I've heard the cramps could be caused by a lack of calcium and potassium, so I am remembering my calcium supps and trying to ripen up our bananas!
