Evening all,

OH and i have had another manic day but are feeling like we have accomplished a lot, nothing for bean lol, but lots done on the garden and other bits that needed doing (like the evil ironing).

Am feeling a little better now although my legs and feet are aching, i think its all the standing up but am looking forward to a day of sitting and resting in the office tomorrow

Hope everyone has been enjoying the sunshine, i said to OH earlier we have the best house becuase although it is glorious outside the air in here is cool and its lovely Im hoping it stays that way for the summer becuase otherwise i can see me being very grumpy when heavily pregnant lol

Just a quick question, how did everyone decide whether to find out at the 20 week scan? I know its a personal choice but i was just wondering how you all came to your decisions, or if you just knew you did/didnt want to find out.

I think for us we just really wanted to know. I think it was a good idea because we both kind of had our hearts set on a girl but it turns out we are having a boy so its given us the time to adjust and now its all about our little guy. It has helped to bond too and I can now think of things for him to do when he is older like looking for bugs with daddy (as long as he keeps them away from mummy!) and chemistry sets and football :rotfl:

Sounds like people have been having some lovely days in the sun!

Puzzled - they don't tell you at 20 week scan here so we had to pay for a gender scan. I wasn't too fussed in finding out but OH wanted to know so we found out. Has been good for things like buying clothes etc and also have been able to call her 'her' which is nice but I think it would be equally nice to have a surprise so go with whatever suits you!

Despite baby being totally lazy and refusing to move into a good photo position again, we are firmly in Team Pink :j

She is currently 3 pounds 13 oz and they reckoned she'll be 8-9 pounds :eek: I'm freaking out a bit over that! I'm just under 5'2" and not particularly well built, I was kinda hoping for the family tendancy for about 6 pounds. I hope I don't go overdue

Since the beginning we have both said we dont want to know, but as time goes on i keep thinking about how much easier it would be if we did know, plus, everyone keeps asking us to find out.

I keep thinking that on one hand i would love to know, on another i would love to wait.

I guess we will have to see where we are in 3 weeks and then decide what we are going to do in the scan

The pics are amazing! I cannot wait until our scan, 3 weeks tuesday - i might burst before then!

8-9lbs! Wow, hope that you dont go over due too

I had just always imagined myself with a girl so wanted a chance to adjust when the hormones weren't running high if it was a boy. OH wasn't fussed at all. I was having a bad spell too, so thought it'd help me bond with them better. Didn't have any luck at the scan, and funnily enough I wasn't as bothered by that as I thought I'd be - after I'd seen them yawning and stuff, and she started kicking it was just wonderful But it was still a niggle, especially when people were offering me loads of girls clothes etc, so obv as per previous post, went for a private one.

I had an early gender scan at 16wks because i was desperate for a boy and had to know lol.
