Wahoo annibee! Congrats on the safe arrival of Tyler! I was wondering how my bump buddy was doing the other day. Hope you are both well and enjoying lots of cuddles.

Well, looks like I'm top of the list all by myself... Long walk has had no effect yet, all it's done is make my feet swollen and I've probably gained a few pounds from the pie and ice cream!

Ah don't worry about weight gain at this stage - it is all storing up for feeding your babs x

Just had a nice sit outside the cafe by where we live and had a lemonade and soaked up the sun. Could get used to that if only I had loads of money.

    Hi all,

Congrats PC and Annibee! Hope you are settling in to enjoying the little ones and can show us some more piccies...

Vroom good luck with HR - as others have said, don't think my boss knows about it and I don't think these days will be needed anyway as I will have maternity cover so not too worried.

I work full time but am also self employed, does anyone know if this affects SMP? I think I remember someone mentioned I could claim £100 per month on self employed tax return, for every month I am on SMP, is that right or have I totally got that wrong...

    Congratulations Annibee,welldone hunni :j

I've had a productive day. We went to the park then came back and the kids played while I did my ironing mountain. I now have no creased clothes in the house ,even the ones I washed today are ironed and away.
I wanted it all done so once the baby is here I can send others to get stuff.

It got warmer as the day went on,so we sat out the back with ice lollies. It's been a lovely day. I'm shattered now though.

  • Hi guys, just found out last week I am PG, coming up to 8 weeks at estimate. I had a question as OH is doing my head in:

We have two gerbils in the bedroom, and he's going on and on about getting rid of them, nothing I've found has pointed to being able to catch anything if following proper hygiene (washing hands, gloves etc), but nothing will shut him up. Anyone heard anything about any risks involved with having gerbils while PG?

  • I think he's just being overprotective because it's our first, we've waited for a while and he's a natural worrier tbh.
