Currently feet up on sofa enjoying the slight breeze. In my pj's as got nothing comfortable to lounge about in. So glad I'm not going to be pregnant all summer!

I said the same thing to my OH today!

I had a bit of a rant last night about having no comfy trousers that didn't make me too hot and sweaty, feeling generally carp about myself especially as I'd put on 5 pounds just from our weekend away , which was then made worse by putting on a nightshirt I hadn't worn for a fortnight and discovering it didn't fit anymore.

So despite me swearing I wouldn't pay their ridiculous prices, we went out to Mothercare this afternoon and I bought some thin yoga trousers, which are sooo comfy and cool. I also picked up a two pack of button nightshirts that'll be good for the hospital too. I feel much happier now.

Also been to my first nearly new sale which I'm glad I went with our friend as it was a bit overwhelming. Got a couple of blankets, a stack of vests and babygrows, a cute bear sleep bag for winter, a changing mat and a mamas and papas swing chair.

Off to the ballet tonight to see the Trocks, worried about how many trips to the loo I'll need!

We've got the Gender scan tomorrow as well! :j

Good luck for the scan tomorrow Perdi.

I've just been sorting through bub's clothes and blankets and was surprised to find I have enough for two loads - and we have a large washing machine :rotfl: Want to get them all washed and dry so I can make up the moses basket and cot and generally be ready for him coming. Although I don't think he will be early, I'd rather be all ready and not have to rush about in a panic. Just over 3 weeks left, so he could come anytime really. Actually quite scary thinking about it - on Tuesday I'll have a full term baby....

I'm hoping we get a chance to put the border up in his nursery today or tomorrow. And get the cot finally put up and his room organised.

Is anyone else fully organised yet?

I think I'm organised. I have enough baby clothes and nappies, hospital bag is at the front door and the house is pretty clean and organised. I still need to batch cook but will do that next week.
The Moses basket is all set up but DD has been playing with Baby Annabel in it lol.

I'm not long back from a lovely day at the beach and a picnic. Going to have a curry tonight.

Evening lady bumps! Just wondering if I could be taken off the list please? I've changed my mind, I'm not pregnant and I definitely won't be having a baby in the next week or so so I don't need to be on it anymore. I'm sure you understand :p

Haven't read back yet, been painting and baking with Moo today which makes a lovely change cos I've been such a nangy cow lately and feel like I've neglected her a little bit - she hasn't exactly been making things easier for me either but that's a whole other story! We've had a lovely day with a few surprise cuddles so we're both smiling now - hope you're all enjoying your weekends and having fun in the sun. It's supposed to rain here tomorrow. Guess that's our summer over with for another year(!)

Anyway, am off for a bath, soak my achey bones for a little while then snuggling down on the couch watching Mamma Mia I think - never seen it but a few of my friends say it's good so we'll give it a try, can always switch over if it's pants!

Quite scary to think how many new babe announcements there'll be in the next couple of weeks (I won't be one of them obviously ;)) so safe delivery to
    [STRIKE]us [/STRIKE] you all.

Hugs to all and appropriate vibes to anyone who needs/wants. xxx

Oh great! Lucky me has a whole summer of getting bigger and bigger to look forward to. Had my first taste of what it'll be like yesterday afternoon sitting in a traffic jam on the motorway in the sun and the air con is broken. What joy. Sure it'll be worth it in the end. And my payback is I'll be on mat leave for all of the Olympics next year :D

Had a most unsuccessful shopping trip today. Wanted maternity jeans and some casual trousers by decided to try them on instead of online lucky dip. Gap= jeans ok but nothing special and expensive. New look = didn't even have maternity. Next = only boyfriend or skinny jeans. Not exactly figure flattering on me. Dotty Ps = skinny jeans only, haven't they seen the size of my thighs?! H&M = nearly cried wen size 14 was skin tight and had to leave. I know there's nothing wrong with size 16 but I'm normally 10/12 so finding it hard to accept. So came away with nothing. Will try jojo maman bebe tomorrow if they're open as I know they have jeans for £30.

I just feel like a big jelly belly. My tummy is too big to hide but not very bump like at all. I don't know how to dress for this shape. Please tell me it gets better soon. I'm 18+3.

Sounds like you're all getting very organised. Glad you're settlin in well digital.

Come on boldies. We want birth announcements!
