    Afternoon/evening!

    I've overdone it :(

Went for a walk round the block with the kids, hubby, mum and her dog, and now I really really hurt :( I wore my belt, but I ended up feeling like I was dragging my right leg behind me as it restricted my hip movement so much. I know I'll really suffer later, so now I have my feet up on the sofa whilst hubby makes tea. I really wanted to just go and do something normal like walk the dog, in the lovely sunshine :(

Went to see some girlfriends last night (one of them is getting married next month and she was having her hair practice) so that was nice. Taxi driver must have thought I was so lazy getting a taxi home from 2 streets away, but I couldn't have walked it. Had a chinese and drank apple juice instead of wine :)

Haven't really had much of a Mother's Day treat, the kids were at their dad's last night so no breakfast in bed type fuss, and then DD has been in dress rehearsals for dancing show all day. I got homemade cards though (they're the best) :D

12 weeks and 6 days to go .... not that I'm starting to count or anything ;):p

Labour vibes to all who need them xxxx

Oh, and heartburn does suck!!!! Gaviscon is my saviour at the moment :o

Got a mega bargain yesterday, bought the Tommee Tippee sensor pad baby monitor (this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001CM1XWO/ref=asc_df_B001CM1XWO2470872?smid=A2W61H83TXLAZ7&!!!!!googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B001CM1XWO) on whoopsie for £10

Tested it today and it works perfectly and doesnt seem to have been out of the box :D

    Puzzled

Thought I did well getting it for £29.99 from Home Bargains. I've just set mine up and god it's annoying when there's no movement for 20 secs there's an alarm - ok I knew about that, but every time there is a movement it goes "pip" I can only fall asleep in silence I even have to leave my watch in the bathroom and sometimes my own heartbeat keeps me awake :rotfl:yeah I know bit of a freak, so the "pip" is just not going to work for me

I had to read up on that, apparently that's what the volume switch on the child unit is for, however me and DH will be testing that out walky talky style later lol x

I thought of that and turned it down, the "pip" was still exactly the same  maybe it just reduces the sound of the alarm

That's odd, have you tried turning it all the way down? i still need to test that all still works like that though.

cutterby - ask your midwife if she can give you some asilone. i couldn't swallow gavison so begged the midwifes doing my twice weekly checks at the hospital for something else... she didn't hesitate and gave me this!! she swore by it in her pregnancy and I must admit I'll be trying to buy it after bubs if I ever need anything. It's like peppermint water... really reallly thin (slightly chalky but nothing a glass of water doesn't shift)...plus you only need 1 or 2 x 5ml spoons. I was drinking pints of milk a day until this miracle liquid 2 weeks ago!!
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    Evening all,

Havne't had nicest day as was visiting Grandma in hospital as she may have fractured her hip poor thing. Went for dinner round OH's sisters though which was nice. His little nieces were both rubbing the bump and the 4 year old had a hundred questions to ask about her, bless her!
