    Morning,

PC - as Teenie said there is still time, fingers crossed for you.

I didn't have a bad night sleep either although woke up in middle of night with stomach cramps and back pain but went away.

Teenie - I have been planning what to do too. I need to wash all baby clothes and also sheets etc and make up the moses basket ready.

Happy Mothers Day to those of you who are Mummy's already :D

Good morning! :D. I have been up for quite a while too with our youngest who can now open the stair gates in seconds! The concept of a mothers day lie in with breakfast is totally lost on my OH! Lol. :rotfl:

Hope all mummies and expectant mummies have a lovely relaxing day.

PC hope things start for you today as would be the perfect day for it to happen. :).

OH has said his mother text to thank him for the cards I made him post...

I have been up since 7 with Squeak... erm... hello?? Do I NEED to state the obvious?

Lie-in... isn't that a large cat that lives on the savannah and eats wildebeest?

Yes first pregnancy. I have spoken to a few people and it does seem to be different for every area. Will just use it as a chance to ask all the questions I keep thinking of :rotfl:

If you're anything like me - write everything down!! Post it note, stuck to the front of your notes - lifesaver! I have all these 'ooh I'll ask about that' moments then can I remember when I'm actually there? Can I ... !!! :o

Adding another day to my signature :( I do have a tiny bit of news to report - I have lost a bit of plug, doubt there's time for anything to happen before I'm admitted Monday afternoon but you never know

Oooh, fingers crossed PC!! Good luck!!!

Happy Mothers Day to the Mummies, nearly Mummies and Mummies to be. I got two cards off Moo and a card from Creature saying 'thanks for growing me the last 9 months, see you soon, Creature' - I was already emotional and that just set me off :oSurprised me a little actually, my Hubs isn't usually that thoughtful - are any men really?! :D

Enjoy the rest of your weekends ladies - appropiate vibes to all! xxx

Actually, while I'm here with five mins to spare - quick question and brain picking! Pretty much everywhere I've read says heartburn should stop when Bubs starts dropping down which usually happens about 36 weeks but I'm still getting horrendous heartburn and I'm 38 weeks - is this normal? It's waking me up in the night :( Probably one of those 'how long is a piece of string' questions cos everyone's different but I spose I'm just wanting a bit of reassurance - don't wanna be the only one going against the grain :o

My 'minor' heartburn disappeared at 20 weeks. As soon as I hit 34 weeks it was back with a vengeance. Not just minor either. Pretty much like you it would wake me. I was so sick with it and now it doesn't seem to want to disappear. Awful sensation that comes on at night and has me crunching on Gaviscon tablets like they are going out of fashion. They taste totally rank but at least they get rid of the problem if I munch early enough. I think i'm stuck with it now for the foreseeable future :(

I had a bottle of gaviscon in my bag until 2 weeks after the baby was born, and a strip of rennies.
