Chicky asilone is definitely available over the counter as my mum has used it for most of my living memory. I am certain that you get it in tablet form too if you find the liquid too unpleasant. :D

    Mrsspendalot never had piles....yet anyway

Wendz sorry about your Grandma hope she recovers quickly.

you will be able to turn it off there is one on my angelcare and the settings are all on the parent unit

It's the baby unit that pips and I was going to be using it at night (as i would wake constantly with DD to check she was breathing) so I will be right beside the baby unit

my baby unit bleeps but the setting to turn it off are on the parent unit.. actually.. both parts bleep with every breath and movement.. now I think about it.. I have it set so there is no sound but there is a light that flashes with every movement/breath.. Does it have the manual i am sure it is in there how to turn it off.. failing that ring the customer services.

Only things on the parent unit is the volume, channel 1/2, and a volume amplifier button. I think I'll have to ring them.

If it's set like this with no volume will that also mean you can't hear the alarm?

Right we've just tested it and its all good, you turn the sound off on the baby unit, no pips but the alarm still sounds. You can also be heard with no probs on the parent unit :)

Good luck for today PC! Can't wait to hear the good news.x

I am awake nice and early on first day of maternity leave. Still getting some little cramps down below , thinking it might be baby engaging. Got appointment tomorrow so will find out then.
