I never actually properly made it back to heel wearing after the birth of my first child and am semi convinced to this day that some sneaky person changed the design of them somehow when I wasn't looking so that I could never wear them again! :rotfl: I am quite small so used to live in very high heels but after he was born I have never been able to master anything beyond a small wedge or kitten heel and struggle not to tip over in them!0

I don't think so. Not an excuse you'd accept from a teenage girl so why from a grown woman?

Part of me wants to embrace being pregnant and eat whatever I want but the other part of me doesnt want to be feeling fat and frumpy after baby is born , and end up getting depressed.I'l be 27 weeks on Monday , at what point is it they say you start putting on a pound a week ? ...... Hopefully its much later onThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

can we leave this be now please?
first of all pigpen, at the moment, isn't here to defend herself and secondly it made it a very hostile, horrible place to be yesterday, this is supposed to be a thread for support but with all the arguing yesterday several post looking for support got somewhat lost in the anger.
thank you xxx0 -

Latex free ones are availableI think what Debs was trying to say is that there is no excuse for not using any type of contraception - there is something there to suit everyone.

Can we please stop the ganging up on Pigpen now??? Everyone has different views and opinions, which is fine, and I think Pigpen would have got the message by now that not everyones views are the same as hers. I thought this thread was about supporting one another through what is, for most of us, a massive life changing event-whether this is your first baby or your 10th.
I for one DO feel incredibly, incredibly blessed to be pregnant and am just praying and hoping that in 7 weeks (actually sooner :rotfl:) I have a healthy baby, but I for one have not enjoyed being pregnant. The feeling so sick and tired at the start, being unable to stand cooking a roast dinner for my family, not having the energy to take my kids to the park after school, and now the awful, awful heartburn that keeps me awake, the aching hips, the tiredness (again) I thought this thread was a place to come and offload some of that with people who knew and understood how it felt-obviously I was wrong0 -
If you'll read pigpens post you'll see that she can't have any condoms, I don't think its the latex she's allergic to (or I've been reading something that doesn't exist).
I'm quite disgusted that you all feel the need to gang up on her. I think I'll be leaving this thread as I don't want to be around such negativity. Pigpen has given me a lot of support, especially when my waters went and has answered any questions I've had even the stupid ones.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget
