Im feeling hormonal aswell.Just waiting on OH picking me up from work (new car is in the garage again ) and Im going to be having words with him. I will however start my sentence with " it may just be my hormones ..BUT......" Sick of him not pulling his weight,he's normally so good but hes working hard at the minute and as a result he comes home and flops on the sofa. Anyhoo , hope everyone has a lovely evening and remember its OBEM tonight(Those that are still watching it ). Have fun at Peter Kay ,wish I was going. Bye bye
LL XXThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

I'm reeeeeeeeally looking forward to OBEM... Especially since I'm so close to going through it myself... <rolleyes>
Midwife came round today and did my birth plan... She really needn't have bothered... She is such a box ticker... I said "I don't want..." and she would write "would prefer not to..." For goodness sake woman, lighten up a bit!!
I tried catching up, but you take a couple of days off and someone opens up a new thread and it's already 26 pages in!
Ooh, congrats Giz<goes back to find a list and see what else she missed>
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

:jCongratulations Giz on the birth of your little girl, pleased you got the birth you wanted, hope you are recovering well.
You lot have posted loads since I've been out to sign on!digitalphase wrote: »The bit about the headlock made me laugh! Sounds so familiar! Abira gets Joey in a headlock, then boxes him with her back feet! He always starts the fight and she always ends it. Really no idea why he bothers! She is responsible for a small split in his ear (was a hole, then she ripped it again), numerous scratches on the nose and cut lips (last one had to go to vets for injection, and have a horrible feeling this one will need seeing too as well). He always pulls her hair out (she's a long hair) and leaves it all round the house in clumps! Must hurt her and drives me mad!
So sorry to her your girl passed on
Thanks, yeah the back feet attack was a favourite move of hers. She was long haired, he is short haired....yep it was HIS fur everywhere:rotfl:
If I can work out how to add a pic I will!dustystar02 wrote: »Also, for those of us with cats, what are you doinng re: litter trays once bubs becomes mobile? Ours are currently in the corner of our kitchen and I thought a baby gate up at the door would solve the problem but OH wonders if the cats will work out how to climb over it to get in there.
Ours is hooded in a corner in the kitchen, considering baby gate to stop baby rather than cat getting in kitchen! Although when my niece and nephew were younger they never bothered with the tray or the one at my mums which was uncovered.I found it mystifying that she didn't just bring a bag in.
I know, for such a well educated couple as they liked to remind us I couldn't work it out! Was he going to car, did they live next door? Mystery!!:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
Congrats Giz! Looking forward to pics when you're both safe back homeEvansangel wrote: »
TMI Alert:
Also, i bought some fybogel (its sooo nice) but it doesn't seem to of worked well. When i feel i really need to go, nothing happens. And if something does happen, its only 1 small bit and thats it.
My tummy cramps up aswell, which really hurts
TMI - have you started passing more wind? It all sounds like what I get, the next stage is wind, and then things sort themselves out. It's hard to say though as mine is for IBS so get lots of random pains:( I'd keep drinking lots of water and give it another day?0 -

Is there a limit to how long you can usually take it for?0 -
. I have got a babasling http://www.thebabasling.com/ which is meant to be usable for feeding
:kisses3: you are wonderful I spent hours trying to find something like this, I knew what I wanted just couldn't find the right one thank you thank you, thank you!!! (must remember to add to my favourites now LOL!!)
We are having strict visiting rules at the house when baby arrives. No more than 2 at once and only for a couple of hours in the evening - don't want to repeat SIL's experience of about 16 people at the in laws all wanting a cuddle when baby was about 2 weeks old!! I'm even getting OH to make me a sign for the door telling people to go awayIt would be my worst nightmare people turning up at the hospital when I'm in labour, ideally I'd just like OH there but have asked my mum to be backup in case we need her!!
I am going to be stricter with visitors this time too, I am hoping to have bubs and get home before anyone realises LOL!!galvanizersbaby wrote: »Noooo - from memory they can also be quite leaky - I recall waking up with my chin in a puddle on more than one occasion

I actually considered writing, "If you do an episiotomy without obtaining my written consent I will sue you for assault." but I decided it might be a little too antagonistic and OTT.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Give it time and nope no limited, used it continuously for years, as consultant recommended as had slight IBS....TMI but his quote was "it leads to a nice smooth exit...." No that does not mean diawoowoo! It never caused that. Haven't used much in pregnancy.:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
