Puzzled - the midwives at my antenantal class said it is fine as long as they have their feet down the bottom etc. I am sure not everyone has a moses basket or crib.

PC I definite would like to meet up. I don't know any other pregnant ladies in the area (I've only lived here for a year or so so all my non-kid mates have dumped me!!) so it would be really nice to meet in town or something? x

Yes you can, it's more convenience (as they wake every 2-4 hours in the 1st few months for feeding) and peace of mind ( to keep an eye on them)

It is meant to lower the risk of SIDs having them in your room for the first 6 months which is why it is recommended

Sorry just realised I misread the question a bit. Pigpen is right. My Mum and Dad put us in our own rooms from day 1 though we are fine...

Our baby doesn't have own room yet so not much choice anyway.
