Increased risk of c-section? How come? :eek:0 -
They try to induce you, it doesn't work or the baby gets distressed, then they have to whip it out quick. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Bit of a simplification perhaps? Hundreds of inductions are done every day without incident.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
I didn't know that, is it more common to have caeser after induction? p.s princess - sorry to hear you had no joy with a sweep either, think I am baking a Klingon it's overdue 6 days now!0

Hi Ladies!!
Hope everyone is well! DH took me to maccy d's for breakfast this morning!! i LOVE their big breakfast, and the kids love the bacon rolls!!
Haven't done much else today really-wanted to get loads done today, but just haven't found the energy.
I had shopping delivered from sainsburys, and i had ordered 10 packs of the basics wipes as they are 11p with the 33% off, and even though i wouldn't use them for baby's botty, they are very handy for hands, faces etc but when it came the driver said they sent me the sainsburys own brand ones, but only charged me for the basics ones :T I assume they had run out of the basics ones-not that i'm complaining as I will make sure I put them by for bubs, and get hubby to bring me home the cheap ones for hands and faces etc (he works at sainsburys so I get staff discount on top of the 33% off as well :money:)
I can't remember who was talking about bottles etc earlier, but in sainsburys the bottles, teats etc all have the 1/3 off as well, and also things like baby bowls, spooons etc.
And i finally got round to adding my pic to the nuby facebook page, so we'll just wait and see which pump i get sent!!!! although as it's free, any of them is a bonus!!
Now to go and feed these children so I can get them to bed VERY early-they've been driving me crackers allllll day!!! lol0 -

I got mine this morning. Was v impressed, it's the manual one with one bottle, one storage pot and 6 disposible breast pads. Not bad for a freebie - although I was very excited when I saw the box as it was humungous!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
I wouldn't mind being induced or having a section. As long as my boy arrives safely (and on TIME!):j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0

Afternoon ladies!
I'm typing this on my phone whilst I bounce about on my exercise ball trying to get this labour started. I know I have 5 days left till my due date but I'm really fed up now and just want to meet my baby!
As well as bouncing away I've spent a good portion of the afternoon on all fours hoping the baby will turn so he/she is no longer back to back. OH keeps walking past me shaking his head and saying I'm making weird moaning sex sounds... little does he know that next on my list of things to do to induce labour is jumping on him to do the deed! Sorry for too much info!0 -

Exactly how I feel. They can do whatever they want to me as long as the baby is ok! I don't want to be induced but that's nothing to do with the medical side of things- I'm just impatient and don't want to go 13 days overdue! I trust the midwives and doctors judgement so whatever they want to do for us they can.0 -
where in the NE are you Alfafa? I'm there too - my MW team are happy to induce 10 days over but I am hoping and praying he comes earlier than that cos a) my mum is going on hol and I will be panicked without her and b) I want to watch the Royal wedding! x:j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0
