Hi hun. Yeah it was me. I didn't put payslips in as i'm self employed. I didn't have to pay NI contributions but I paid up the whole year (as advised by the special help line) to be able to get SMP.

So if I give them until next Thursday and see if they need any other information that should be fine innit?! Nowhere on the forms did it ask about how much I earned or anything. Although I did send it the NI contribution payment so I SHOULD be entitled to the full 39 weeks at the highest rate! Fingers crossed! I should have sorted this earlier but work prohibited me from getting it done! :(

I don't know about self employed, so can't help there. I'm entitled as had worked 26 weeks within 66 weeks before due date, I had to send pay slips for earnings. When signed on last she said they do normally process within 2 weeks. Hope its all straight forward for you xx

....so you won't be looking in the Next sale tomorrow then....just in case something takes your fancy!! My mum has offered to come with me....which is good because 1) I think she'll pay as not got anything for baby so far and 2) she can hold onto stuff or look still if I have to go out if get too hot in there. be interesting to see if any fights in there this time!

Excellent news on the GTT MB :D

I am so tired all of a sudden, and still need to have a shower. Just waiting for OH to finish. Had dinner, and a Snickers bar, but still hungry. Hate it when I get like this, nothing seems to satisfy me. We haven't even got any ice cream left as ate it all last night. Oh, got a yogurt in fridge, think I'll have that :D

Will watch the first part of Corrie, stuff my face and have a cup of tea to wake me up a bit, then have a shower I think. Or else I may fall on my face :o

  • 19th - mine came parcel post 1st thing this morning.... fingers crossed yours is here over the weekend.

Just checked and I sent mine on the 20th so not worried now

    Hope it goes well.

It didn't:( my cervix is too high, too long, too firm, and completely closed so she couldn't do it :(:(:(

I just VIP shopped on the Next Sale online ..... got 5 maternity T-shirts half price, a couple of pairs of jeans for DD and a romper suit for bump. There wasn't a great deal in the sale tbh

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Hi everyone, thanks for all the congratulations! Just to say that birth story is in the pipeline but I need to find a time when DS is in bed, OH is not hanging round close by and Amy will be put down! Not found it yet!
