I would go with quick agony...you know if you tell them this when you go to be induced - and hoping you don't get to that stage - they can slow the rate of the drip and make it all less dramatic. Sounds like they didn't monitor you and change the speed of administration of the hormones well enough.

Noone is going to shout...I realise piggers has dealt with this...but she is right about being in your room for the first 6 months and SIDS research...but no reason why the babe can't go in a cot in your room. Co-sleeping is supposed to be unsafe if you are, amongst other things, very tired...and what new mother isn't very tired??

From what I recall having looked at the evidence, there is the demonstration in one study of correlation between dummy use and reduced incidence of SIDS, but no evidence of a causal link.

For myself, I am against dummy use, but everyone will find their own way and I am sure my life would be easier if I did use them (and the baby, LOL).

Well I am on my third show and second sweep, strangely enough they found me a m/w last night, and 2-3 cm dilated which is rubbish.

Also realised to my horror that the stupid receptionist at the hosp had given me a consultant appointment on my due date instead of a week or two later and I completely failed to go. I had no idea it was then...bad me.

Ha ha chicky when I was at uni we had to carry round a big bottle and a funnel and collect our wee for 24 hours and then analyse it...yuck!

Yes please I would like to go into proper labour right now. I don't even care if no one gets here in time with G and A...its def a boy, its late and its being a pain!!

I had to collect mine a couple of days before I had Squeak.. there was approx half a mug full despite me drinking 1.5L of oasis and 7 1/2 pint mugs of tea...

I started with a urine infection which spread to my kidneys and they just stopped functioning pretty much. I have normaly got some sweeling and fluid retention on my kidneys by the time I pop mine but that was really really horrible I was in huge amounts of pain and it was truly horrible.

owwwww!!!! nothing they can do....

mines to check my protein levels - apparently a PCR score of 60+ (when it should be less then 30) is bad :rotfl:

mine was off the scale for blood, protein, sugars, ketones (how we managed ketones and sugar noone is sure) and everything else they checked for.. so they gave me AB's that said in huge letters 'NOT TO BE TAKEN IN PREGNANCY' .. idiots!
