Have been offline most of the day as my hubby decided to take out the internet connection and have only just managed to get all connected up again lol

I sat this morning and cried when I read the news about Amanda Holden :~( poor things heart must be breaking

Hey hun, am still here!:D Going to make a cup of tea (last sachet of hot chocolate :() then retire....once I've found a good alternative to ear plugs!!

Glad the baby shower went well.:)

I know it's horrible about AH. I really do not know how people cope with that and cannot even begin to imagine.:(

Yeah am having me a cup of raspberry leaf tea....can't say its the nicest stuff I have ever tasted lol baby shower was fab you should have seen the stuff we got.....my MIL got me the most gorgeous box of pamper stuff too and am going to use that tomorrow afternoon when I am prepping to go see Peter Kay hehehe

This was my one fear when I bought the tickets lmao and I remember saying something in here and being told that loads of preggers women went to see him and didn't go into labour so I hope I can keep the alien in the pod for a while longer hehe

Hi Teenie Had a mooching kind of day yesterday. I wanted to post, but couldn't think of anything much to say every time I got to my laptop

I've had my mattress protector on since just after Christmas. Paranoid I know, but as I was an early baby myself I didn't want to take the risk. There's one by my bags to put in DHs car for when we go to hospital too.

I hope you manage to get things sorted with the strep Sharky I too am angry for you :mad:My MW got really cross at the stand-in MW and the consultant, as they'd both plotted my FH wrongly, so it looked as though baby had had a massive growth spurt and then not grown for 4 weeks. She said that if I'd ended up in hospital at all, the staff would've been extremely worried about sproglet and maybe been looking at induction due to lack of growth. So I agree, always double check your notes.

Hello Claire and congrats on your PG.Everyone on here is really lovely, so I'm sure you'll find plenty of friends.

RBG I find with the tea that it depends how long you leave the bag in and how hot the water is. Needs to be boiling. If it's in for a short length of time you get the bitter tastes coming out, then the longer you leave it, the more fruit flavours you get out. If the water isn't hot enough you tend to only get the bitter flavours. I've nearly run out and need to figure out if I can get in to town tomorrow to pick up some more.

Had such a good night's sleep Saturday night. I woke up all refreshed and feeling mobile and able to do stuff. So I did stuff. Now I can't sleep. Grrrrrrrr. Sproglet's been a bit quiet today. Did have a shuffle around earlier, but not as much as usual. Will keep an eye on things today. Thought I may as well come downstairs and watch rubbish tv for a bit and play on FB and MSE as I've been awake since 2.

The milkman's just driven past!!
