Where did you get the 85%/15% figure from? Everything I've read says it's less than 2% risk after 12 weeks. 15% loss rate at 7 months is horrific and so sad :( Poor Amanda.

"What to expect when you're expecting" iphone app said that this week for me and I'm 6 months so she should have had better stats being 7 months gone or it could have been "Fertility Friend" as I use both. Less than 2% after 12 weeks is way off (not wanting to scare anybody). A lot of the stats base it on when the lungs are developed enough to survive outside of the womb from what I read.
At 12 weeks the placenta is established so a big milestone and did make me feel relieved as I stopped bleeding then too.

I think Fanta might have been quoting the stats for babies born, and Chopsie&Chelvis the stats for pregnancies overall.

We are still here, baby is barely engaged and keeps popping out again. Boo.

Yes, very sad news about Amanda :( It was saying in the paper that she hadn't felt the baby move for a little while so she went to get checked out - just goes to show a mothers instinct I guess.

I'm having a bit of a lazy day today. MIL has been round and has painted the woodwork in our bedroom, so just need to wallpaper tomorrow and get dad round to fit some new sliding doors, and that's both bedroom doors done :D I love DIY when I'm not the one doing it lol

Has anyone seen "The Kings Speech"? Is it good? I'm hoping so considering the number of Oscar nominations its got! DH is taking me to see it tonight but I hope we go to an earlier showing as I can't stay up late anymore.

Lilac - Exciting stuff. Good luck! Looking forward to the news.

No news from Giz - so hopefully she's having mummy cuddles by now :)

Have a good Sunday all x

Well, life is officially over. Have put the dri-nites pads on the bed :( Still, saves on buying a new mattress after soaking it if my waters break.

Have been a busy bunny. Tidied my Christmas/birthday present stash and am having a clothes/spare bedroom sort out once I've watched Marchlands. Think I'll watch a movie once I've done that all. DH is wanting to go out for tapas but I'm happy staying in jogging bottoms and staying in. Shame we are too far away to get take outs delivered - n'er mind.

    x

    Hope you're getting there Chakani...albeit slowly! x

I have already had my Mum on the phone checking baby is still moving...it does make you worry but obviously a rare thing to happen.

I am just making some little butterfly cakes. We have loads of baking ingredients so feel like i should use them up!

 Have you put them on already! I might think about it the week before my due date LOL!

It must be nice to have finished work now Coops. I am counting down my Sunday shifts so only 5 more to go thank goodness (working my other job longer though!)

Very sad to hear about Amanda Holden poor lady :(

Glad you had a good day RBG, sounds like you were spoiled!

Digital hope MAx is ok. we have 2 piggies we got them from the SSPCA in June but I can't handle them at the mo as since being preggers I have become allergic to them LOL

Has hngry been on? Wonder how she is doing! Hope Giz is having mummy cuddles by now too.

C'mon baby Chakani it may be lovely and cosy in there but it's time to make an appearance now!

Better being safe than sorry. Expensive mattress so I'm not taking any chances. My BFF was 3 weeks early than her EDD and no signs of going in to labour....just pop in the middle of the night. Her daughter wasn't prepared to wait for the planned c-section. For the sake of £4 I'd bought them so thought I'd shove it on. You never know....

Afternoon all, just watching Chelsea hopefully beat Liverpool!

Hope that hngry, Giz and is it flower are getting mummy cuddles now! Chakani I hope things get moving for you too!

Congrats to OTE on birth of Wesley!

RBG glad you had a good time last night.

Poor Amanda Holden, so, so sad:( I don't think I'll relax until have baby in my arms.

Well I'm nursing my clingy cat today, think another cat got in the cat flap and they had a scuffle indoors then he chased them out cat flap. He is limping today but no obvious signs, and he forgot the limp when chasing his cat treats when thrown to him! I've put some anti inflam drops on them to help him.
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:
