I'm working to 38 weeks, what on earth possessed me to thinking that was a good idea? :(
  • dusty you are doing very well. Working to 35 weeks nearly did me in, but you are younger and fitter, you can do it!

Been for growth scan, all good. Group B strep...no screening as routine, but the test is cheap apparently, a vaginal swab the m/w can do, so I am going to get it done.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

I have been slathering on cocoa butter morning and night but have stretchmarks on boobs, hips, legs and now tummy. None are dark though so could be helping.

I am working till 37 weeks, 25 more working days left for me.

Alamaya, fundal measuring isn't an exact science. My MW told me they expect it to be roughly a cm for the number of weeks (after they start measuring you that is so don't anyone start getting worried lol!). It depends on the position of the baby and they are not just measuring the baby they are also measuring any *ahem* padding you may have around baby.

I have a feeling mine was 1cm over my number of weeks when she measured me but MW wasn't at all worried.

Oh, and I've heard that genetics make more difference to stretchmarks than creams, but I figure there is no harm using the cream in case it makes even a teeny amount of difference. Certainly like the smell and the way it makes me feel :D

 How come everything I fancy is suddenly a "craving"? Friend asks me if I want anything in the shop I say strawberry ribena and everyone goes "ooh craving" - um no I've always liked strawberry ribena and I just fancy it.

    Rant over.

Well my blood pressure and everything is fine. Which is good. And as a bonus I got a fresh sample pot wooo :rotfl:

I guess it just means my feet are expanding and falling apart. I can't fit into my work shoes anymore and the arches of my feet and achilles tendons are killing me.
I also appear to be developing carpal tunnel which I was expecting since I already had rsi and tendonitis... I shall be over here in the corner feeling sorry for myself :o
