Good luck Spaghetti............Im hoping to be following in your steps pretty soon!
Just found this:
Can I tell if labour is about to happen soon?
Maybe. Signs of the approach of labour include:- Lightening (when the baby's head begins to drop into position in your pelvis). You may notice that you can breathe more deeply and eat more, but you'll also need to wee more frequently.
- Your vaginal discharge becomes heavier and more mucous.
- You'll have more frequent and noticeably more intense Braxton Hicks contractions.
- You may have loose bowels

Evening ladies
Labor vibes to Spaghetti - hopefully we will have a baby by the morning :j
Strep B - Is this test offered as standard then? I haven't been offered and won't see the MW until I'm 38 weeks.
Wendz - Congrats on the moses basket and the cot bed - getting the big stuff makes it seem so much more real, doesn;t it??
GFH - How's Truffle doing today? Any more accidents? My Teddy used to do his poos behind the sofa :o Don't think I could cope with the toilet training again!
So I am now on Maternity Leave :j:j:j Was a little sad, but now I can't wait to meet my little lady and start the next chapter of our lives :happyhear

Strep b not tested as standard as far as I'm aware. I was tested at 28wks but apparently it can develop at any stage in your pregnancy so even if you get the all clear at one stage it can develop later on. I guess if it was common then would be tested as standard?
Well done on starting mat leave sammy. Still 16 working days for me and they are ddddrrrrrraaaaaggggggiiiiinnnnnggggg0 -
Strep B testing isn't offered as standard at the moment. I tested positive for it in pregnancy #2, so have since been tested in pregnancy #3 (negative) and will be tested again this pregnancy at 37 weeks.
I had a slight 'show' at 27 weeks and some strong contractions so they thought I was going into prem labour. I was swabbed at the hospital once the contractions stopped to see if there was anything 'going on' that shouldn't have been, and this is what came back. I would never have known otherwise.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015
