Thanks
I know sorryas i'm a newbie i am unable to post links. So strange being referred to as new when this website has pretty much sorted out my life over the past 5 years!!
Good luck lauren_1!0 -
Fairy, I was struggling to imagine the size too so I had a look in TK maxx at similar sized bags, then decided it would do! !Haven't packed it yet but will try and post a pic of it packed, there is def more space than in my ryanair sized carryon bag which is what I've half packed at the moment.
We had our last nct class last night, I spoke to the lady about worrying whether baby was breech or not and she suggested:
Speak to the birthing centre and tell them I'm worrying about it and ask them to do an assessment (as I don't actually think baby is breech).
If baby is the recommended advice is to crawl on the floor for about 20 mins per day.
She also said that accupuncture often seems to work. !Can't remember who was asking but hope some of this is helpful. !
Hope everyone's doing okay today, I am off to London with work for the 2nd time this weekso am on a v late train
. !Only got a couple more Days there before I finish so it could be worse!
Oh and DIY news, I bought our carpets last night. !I have managed to get an offcut for one and discount for the other, all in we're paying less than half what we were originally quoted (by asking the fitter direct rather than going with the shop prices). !OH is going to strip the paint while i see my friend this weekend, so in theory we could be back in our bedroom the weekend after this woo. Only been living in 2 rooms since Oct, so you can understand my excitement
xx

Well done Apricot. All my maternity stuff was bargains ... Ive yet to wear any of it yet , lol. I was planning on chucking it on ebay once Id finished but my little sister said maybe could I keep it for a while if she has a baby  First I'd heard of any of this , shes just finished uni , lol . Have you bought any baby bits yet ? Or are you waiting on 20 week scan?
I've bought a few plain white babygrows and vests (I may have 216 size 1 nappies and 38 packs of wipes too) - can't wait for my 20 week scan though as I have seen lots of lovely sleepsuits in pink/blue so just want to know now! I also ordered a nice pram blanket from Ebay it's Elli & Raff pattern so nice and neutral for whatever flavour bubs might be.
Have you got a lot? I didn't want to go overboard but really it is a short space of time now - 17 weeks todayWaters have broken...very publicly on the way to school.

Oooo good luck Lauren!!!!! Sorry but LOL at the waters! All I can see is a bunch of concerned mothers and children surrounding you all wet and worried!
SorryBeautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -
Ive not got that much , a couple of sleep suits , about the same amount of nappies as you and maybe about 12 packs of wipes. My mum has started buying the next size up nappies , we have bought a selection of brands incase baby is allergic. Have my grobag egg room temp thing , 2 sleeping bags , cot mobile and cot teddy, bottles and sterliser and pram, I have also got a nice pram blanket. I know which cot I want (ikea ) so will get that nearer the time , then once Ive got cot I can start buying cot sheets etc Was looking at baby baths and top and tail bowls yesterday. Also got my eye on a bumbo on ebay , going to get a red one as it can do girl or boy. My SIL had one and it was great. So much stuff to get, my SIL got loads of stuff bought for her , but loads of our family are worrying about jobs at the minute and have roofs to fix with the bad weather etc so dont really want to burden them buying us stuff. Im always too embarrassed when anyone asks what they can buy I normaly say , dont be daft just knit us a hat or some booties. Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

She said that because about 90% of people still don't know how to serlilise bottles properly they advise you get a one to one on how to do it. I just don't think the letter should have been entitled "infant feeding" it should have been "breast feeding ante natal". If I was planning on f/feeding and nothing could convince me otherwise I would have been annoyed tbh!
Really!? - I didn't realise there was that much to the sterilisation of the bottles - hope I wasn't doing it wrong all those years!- oh well both DS and DD were fine.
I agree that it would have been better if they'd made it clear it was advice on breastfeeding only but to be honest I'm not really surprised they weren't giving out advice on formula feeding - that said breast feeding mums also sterilise bottles if they express0 -

LOL exactly!!! TBH midwifes I'm sure don't have the time to do one to ones with mothers using bottles for formula or expressed milk, can't see it lasting personally but who knows!!"That's no reason to cry. Lablover you seem much more organised than me! Saying that I am having a lot of things off my sister especially if baby is a girl. Moses basket, bath, top and tail bowl etc will all come from my sister regardless of the flavour then if it's a girl we will have the bouncer, playmat and a massive pile of clothes too! I've got a maxi cosi car seat which my friend gave me (only been used a few times as she doesn't have a car).
Don't know where everything is going to go mind - Im struggling for space as it is (I may have to get rid of OH!):happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0
