TM and DM11 - should be able to get out for a walk today - weather is really nice here. EDD was yesterday so really hoping it's the start of something!

Good morning ladies!

Managed to bag a few bargains on Maternity clothes yesterday - I ordered a few bits for work from Dororthy Perkins and won a few things on Ebay so I am hopefully all set for the moment!

Good morning, I join those of you who didn't sleep well last night. Wide awake for a couple of hours but couldn't get out of bed as in the night and first thing in the morning my legs are always agony and I can't move very well without help (annoying when I need a wee in the night lol).

Seeing the consultant today to see how far overdue they recommend for me to go before having an elective CS. They should sweep me while I'm there too (40+1 today).

Well done Apricot. All my maternity stuff was bargains ... Ive yet to wear any of it yet , lol. I was planning on chucking it on ebay once Id finished but my little sister said maybe could I keep it for a while if she has a baby :eek: First I'd heard of any of this , shes just finished uni , lol . Have you bought any baby bits yet ? Or are you waiting on 20 week scan?

Hi all! serial lurker here!! Just thought i'd pop myself on the list as i'm hoping to have more time to post as I start Mat leave tomorrow.

Just a quick question does anyone have any suggestions about baby slings? I have a 23 month old daughter so to avoid double buggys i'm hoping to survive with a sling for when she is in the pram or a buggy board when he is in the pram. All wishful thinking mind as dd refuses to walk anywhere!!

Oh no I realise they don't always feed straight away, I was lucky as DD did but what I mean was the lady was just lying there straight after giving birth with no top half on. Personally I would rather dh had cuddles and skin to skin while I got cleaned up and comfy. I just kept thinking how cold she must have been!
