Hugs hun hope you managed to get back to sleep

I had to be helped to bed last night when hubby came in as I was sooo sore I couldn't actually stand on my own the pain was like a pulled muscle under bump which was worse when I took a step. It has settled this morning thankfully as I have stuff to do today (go out for lunch and stuff myself silly lmao) but I have a few bits to do around the house as well that I want to get cleared up. Managed one trip downstairs to the bathroom but there was noway I could have sat so while I was awake last night I lay and stared at the mattress that is blocking the sliderobes. Hopefully tonight will finish the sanding and painting in the spare room so it can go back in there.

RBG Hope you're ok. Not long until you can evict baby!

Im very tired and none of my clothes fit. I really need to order some things as goodness knows when Ill be able to get into town (plus the temptation of a real shop may prove too much for my shopaholic self!). Any suggestions for nice maternity stuff? A lot of places only seem to do character t-shirts and jogging bottoms but I need nice-ish things that I can wear to work.

New Look does nice maternity wear for work. Thats where I got all my stuff

ASOS and Topshop do some lovely maternity stuff.

There's always a few bargains to be had in the ASOS clearance maternity section too.

I slept really well until OH got into bed and decided he needed to rub the bump until it woke me up.

Mind you, I had a couple of hours sleep when I came in from work and he made the dinner (bless) as well as doing a load of DIY, so not feeling too bad today

Coops, I know the feeling bubs likes to kick when I listen to hypnobirthing as well, its like they think "yay mum's lying down to give me some space to beat her up from the inside!!" He must stop eventually cos I think I was only concious towards the end!!

I'm finishing at 38 weeks (bar working one day that week which shouldn't be too taxing!). I was planning on finishing at 39, am actually starting ML the day before I'm due, however am using holidays before that (very handy having the holiday year start 9 days before I'm due ). I just told work the latest date but told them I might need to finish earlier depending how I felt nearer the time!

I'm thinking about going to see my friend this weekend, she lives a good 5 hr drive away though - OH can't make it, so am under strict instructions not to go into labour if I go!! A bit worried about the length of the journey, plus the fact that my carseat isn't in a great position so my hips tend to ache after too much driving, but not seen her since the summer so very tempted (think 33 weeks is the latest I'd do it tho!).

Nothing much happening...had a nice run of 'cramps' at around 4am.....then let out the biggest fart known to man kind.
