    Hey peeps

Hope you are all okay :D. Been v busy so not had much time to post sorry! !
Sorry to hear you didn't get the tesco bag, that looked like a real bargain. !There are quite a few wheeled holdall bags on eBay, altho nothing quite as cheap, mine was £15 delivered and apparently arrived today, i needed something bigger than I had already so got a nice girly one :) (will try and post the link when I'm not on my phone)

Welcome to the newbies :). Was it Doglover asking about a dress for a few weeks - I'd recommend booking a personal shopper appointment for a week beforehand, I had one at debenhams and altho they didn't have much maternity wear I tried loads of lovely stretchy dresses and the one I bought still fits at 32 weeks, is nice to be pampered too.

I've been feeling hiccups I think, quite low in my bump/ pelvis, is that likely to be a sign that baby's head is down there (fingers crossed), or do you feel hiccups from another bit of baby? !

Yay for 24 weeks bbm :D
Hngrymummy hope you are getting mummy cuddles already :D v exciting (but not sure about the speed that I'm heading to the top of the list!!).!

Sorry if I've missed anything, writing on phone before I try and post cos every time I try it goes wrong :(

Hugs & bump rubs all round (hugs for those of you not showing cos I know bump rubs are just annoying at that point :p)

    Em xx

Hiya, thanks for all the advice about waiting to buy an outfit for the wedding. It's a family wedding so I'll be in photos so I don't want to look a minger but at the same time I don't want to spend too much on an outfit I'll probably wear once. I'll defo start bargain hunting in a month or so.

DH and I accidently fell into a baby shop and spent an hour in there looking at pushchairs. OMG I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to decide, however I think we have narrowed it down to about 3 (for the minute!).

It's nice that the day I have joined so have a few others - I'm totally the new girl all on my own ;).

Are any of you doing anything special tonight? DH and I and aren't big on valentines day but having the scan has made this one special. I suspect we'll get a takeaway (naughty I know) and watch one born. People think it's funny that I watch it in "my condition" but it's gotta come out one way or the other so a bit of info won't scare me (well not for the next 4 months and then it will petrify me ).

How soon before your EDD are you intending on finishing work? It's tricky to call because I want to save as much maternity paid leave for when I have the bean but I'm aware that I will probably struggle, especially in the height of summer.

Doglover we'll be having an Indian tonight (I don't really bother with V day but never pass up the opportunity for a takeaway) and I got home from work to lovely candlelit bath so I can't compain.

Im planning on hopefully working up until 38 weeks - I want as long as possible off with the baby but I don't want to push myself too much so if I feel the need to finish a bit earlier I will.

I got the Loola Up and Creatisfix carseat, we might keep the chassis/frame bit at ours so we can try out in cars if we go car shopping :)

Execept they sent with a black hood so will be emailing them! the seat is reversible so we've got that red instead!

I bet your OH is pleased he's got it in red lol. I reminded my DH that the pushchair part of ours is red and so Arsenal colours and he wasn't impressed that I hadn't reminded him when we bought it lol.

I've been charging the baby monitor for the last few hours and it beeps like every 20 seconds. Very annoying!!

Doglover - I'm finishing next week (:j) when I will be 36 weeks. Even though I'm only working part time - I am getting so so so tired and the early rises for work (6am) are doing me in. Somehow my boss persuded me to work 3 days this week instead of 2 - so 3 early starts :(

On the positives, my claim for Maternity Allowance has been accepted at the full rate of £124.88 a week :j:j:j

Ours does this when fully charged, when either the volume or the sensitivity has been turned down too low - could it be that?

Just caught up from the weekend postings, lot of new babies and new mummies to be on here - congratulations to everyone!

Well this baby is due tomorrow and I am not feeling like it's anywhere close to coming out, booooo. Was induced with DS at 11 days over, ended up with CS at 12 days as he got stuck after turning back to back just before pushing. This baby turned back to back last week and doesn't seem to have turned again, so fingers crossed it does.

I'm so huge now that just pottering around the house is leaving me feeling breathless and dizzy, even have to have a sit down while making a sandwich! Not sure how much more I can take!

Seeing consultant on Weds to see how long overdue they advise to go to still try for the VBAC, before we go straight for a CS as they won't induce me this time (apart from trying to break waters).

Even holding my arms out to type on the laptop is wearing me out lol.

Fab news on the maternity allowance, i was really pleased as i'm getting full allowance too due to the fact they allowed me to claim from when i was working 2 jobs. Its my last day on friday, although mat leave doesn't officially start til the 28th, but we have half term then :)
DD hasn't picked up at all, she's throwing up everything that she puts inside herself, which so far is rich tea biscuits and very weak juice. I'm supposed to be seeing the consultant tomorrow too, don't know whether to just cancel.
