Hi Girls,
Just thought i'd stop lurking & actually post for once. I'm 20+5 today (due 29th june 11 -How do i get added to the 'EDD' date list?).

Had 20 week scan last week & everything is fine :j. So starting to buy stuff now. Wanting to be very MSE about baby purchases, i.e. only buying stuff we actually need rather than nice to have!

Has anyone looked at slings? Any likes/dislikes/advice?

Will get you added SDH....welcome across do you know the flavour yet??? I was given a sling by a friend so I don't think I can go any more MSE than that but am sure the other ladies will have some advice for you

Oh Yeah Doglover....we use flavour for describing gender, saves any hassle lol

We have a kari-me sling which is a stretchy wrap and found it invaluable. Also have a woven wrap from eBay as the stretchy one isn't as good when they get heavier. If you can find a sling meet in your area, you can try out different types to get an idea of what you would prefer.

Welcome SDH, Do you have a feeling that your having a girl or a boy? I have a hunch that mine is a girl.Evry other day I switch about and imagine a little boy tho so I dont get a shock if i actually have a boy, lol
