    Typical!

I had the same phone call :(

I'm 24 weeks! A huge day as I'm at risk of premature delivery, at least our little boy now has a fighting chance :j

Welcome SDH, Do you have a feeling that your having a girl or a boy? I have a hunch that mine is a girl.Evry other day I switch about and imagine a little boy tho so I dont get a shock if i actually have a boy, lol

All I could picture mine being was a girl, hubby thought it would be a girl, so did all my family. We got a surprise today finding out it was a boy!!!

  • Welcome new ladies!

I've been in maternity wear since 12 weeks and my bump is large now
This is my 3rd baby so think my tummy muscles aren't as good at holding this time :o

I have my scan on Wednesday and we will find out the gender if we can - want a healthy baby first and if they can get a good look then bonus :T
I've got a boy and a girl already and think this baby may be a girl (will wait and see)
  • Hope everyone is well this morning - I had a reasonably good weekend bar the baby seems to have dropped very low and is kicking very low which is proving to be a bit painful and uncomfortable - did anybody else find this at 20 weeks? - in my previous pregnancies I don't recall getting kicked this low this early :(

I only got flutters until my 20 week scan, which turned him into a kicking monster from then on, its normally from belly button down for me at moment.
Morning Ladies. Well I had my show this morning and been having cramps since I got up at 7am, so not sure if thats things starting for me or not. Had a really rubbish morning so far, my heating and hot water packed in last night and the house is freezing :( Landlord has been out and says that the boiler is fooked and needs a new pump and is away to try and get a new one, but cant guarantee that it will be today. If not Mr Sharkey and I will have to stay in a hotel, as it is way to cold to be here, really peeved off as he new we were having probs with the boiler and hasnt bothered his backside to do anything about it. Housing benefit are messing me around as well and have said that I am not entitled to anything as my wages are too high - my employers overpaid me last month which means this month I wont get anything but according to the council me, husband and newborn can survive on nothing at all :( apparently whenever bubs is born we will be entitlted to it, but not until then. Crazy system. lol.
Hope HM is having mummy cuddles and that everyone else is ok today.
    Sharkeybabe xx

Exciting Sharkey, hope things are starting for you, sorry you've heating and other problems.
You pair are evil and sadistic and I used to like you :P and I am not coming online tomorrow when Hitchins and I get to 5/6 (I think that's what we'll be tomorrow lol)

You see you lose count long before you get to my name :p:D:D:D But I still love you anyway despite your comments ;)

Met up with my friend and had a good laugh, I'm exhausted though. I've finally got first baby clothes - a George (Peppa) Pig T-shirt and some scratch mits from Next. And in Poundland got pack of 2 Tommee Tippee dummys in blue....see I can do blue...(except T-shirt was green!) We have a Peppa Pig thing in this house, OH likes more than my niece :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Rant - feel free to ignore!

Agh Im going to scream! My boss is so thick - she has absolutely no clue how to use the accounting software that we're using yet she insists on going in and changing things that I've done which were right to begin with. We have an audit next week and I've just noticed something that she's done which is going to take me bl00dy ages to rectify - and if it's not done by the audit Im the one who looks stupid!

How soon can I start my maternity leave? I might have strangled the old witch by then!

    Good afternoon ladies :)

Welcome and congrats to the newbies :)

Hi Doglover :hello:Great to see you over here. I remembre you from TTC - yay for the BFP. That's great news :j I think you should deffo find out the flavour - but that's cos I'm impatient! And I would prob wait before buying a wedding outfit to maybe the week before - just beacause you don't know how quick or slow your tummy will grow.

Not much going on here. MIL has now turned her attention to our bathroom and decided the one wall needs another lick of paint and the skirting board needs redoing *rolls eyes*. It is very nice of her to want our house to be perfect before baby gets here - but it is making me feel that she thinks my house and decor is cr*p - *sigh*. And she complained her crumpets weren't crispy enough :o

I do have a question. I was walking the dog last night and when we got closer to home I had a really sharp pain in my right butt cheek :o I haven't had it at all during my pregnancy and it was really quite painful. But its gone now. Any one had it or any ideas??

Oh, and my pram is ready for delivery :j Randomly John Lewis are using Parcelforce instead of their own delivery service so they would only say it will be here within the next 10 days. I'm so excited :j
  • Sammy I've been getting the right butt cheek thing, normally when been walking or standing too long. What pram are you getting again? Its exciting isn't it, been checking mine out this weekend, but will try to keep it round my mums for next 17 weeks!
