    Morning ladies :D

In a much better mood today.....well so far anyway that could always change!!

DH was out last night for a couple of pints and he was home for 12.45am which is fine but he [STRIKE]blethered[/STRIKE] gibbered until about 2 am!! He very rarely goes out so I don't mind and he was with all my drinking buddies too so at least I got to catch up with what everyone was doing!

Dusty that is a fab bag!

Hngry hope things start happening for you hun, are you being offered a sweep?

    30 weeks today

ETA:I don't know if anyone will remember but a couple of weeks ago i was desperate for scampi fries and haven't been able to get any anywhere......well Dh came home with 4 packets from the pub last night LOL bless him!!!

Bless your OH Teenie, bet you were happy with the scampi fries! My OH tends to come in and chat away after a drink lol.

I am doing OK at the minute but we will see! They have said I can leave earlier if I don't feel up to it so is good to know.

  • Morning all.

Not much to say, except that I'm still here. Baby's not even been teasing me.

So, can I have any opinions/experiences on sweeps please. I've been offered one, and am seriously considering it now.

    Thanks

Another night when I kept waking up, great!

PC -I am wishing the days away too. Should really be trying to enjoy being pregnant but just can't wait for her to be here.

I don't think there's any shame in not enjoying being pregnant ;) TBH, what is there to enjoy?! :rotfl:

We put ourselves through this (some people are lucky and have easy pregnancies though, so they are excluded) to be rewarded with a beautiful baby at the end, and I am sure it will all be worth it, that's what keeps me going. I wouldn't change anything, I am happy to be pregnant, but I am not enjoying it.
Wouldn't be so bad now if I didn't have the SPD, as my nausea and fatigue have eased, but to be honest the SPD is far far worse :(

I know after bubs is born I'll be on here saying I'll do it all again in a heartbeat though :rotfl:

Dusty - that's a real bargain! I am going to use an Animal holdall/weekend bag I already own, though :D

Re: leaky boobs. Mine haven't done anything yet, but maybe it's too early and it's my first baby, so maybe milk isn't in yet. I'm not bothered though, I don't particularly want them :rotfl: Have got some breast pads in already for hospital bag, so can always break them open if need be :)

Re: hospital visits. Hmm, I was thinking OH's parents may come in a couple of hours after the birth. Once I am showered and dressed and recovered, and have had a cup of tea. My mum won't be able to get in on her own though, so dunno what we're going to do about that. She may put her elderly dog in kennels and come down on train, then OH or his folks pick her up from train station, but unlikely. All depends if I/we need to stay in hospital as well. But OH's parents live locally, and are brilliant, so I don't mind them coming in, but want some private time to ourselves at first. Also depends on what time he is born! He may be born at 3am :rotfl:
