I haven't got my cvi either as it was from back in 1984 so sent them a letter from my eye surgeon instead.

My partner's still not heard by phone call or post. He's only got his registered blind registration card. He's going to an eye clinic at the hospital on the 24th to get a CVI done as he doesn't have any paperwork which shows any of his visual acuity etc., so it would probably be best to receive a call afterwards (or he'll be calling them in March).0

No, he went to see him the other week to ask him what information he had on his eye condition and he didn't have any record of results, hence why he's had to refer him to the eye clinic.
He hasn't seen anyone regarding his eyes for 6 years (and in that instance it was only because an eye Prof was interested in studying his eye condition and properly diagnosed him). He has had his eye condition since birth (he's nearly 38) and because there isn't anything that can help him, he doesn't get seen by anyone. He doesn't wear glasses either (as they are of no benefit) so he doesn't go to opticians.0 -

I wonder if they'd asked people with CVIs from years ago, (like you) to submit new ones.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

celbelle......what condition does your partner have?
sh.......from what the consultant said, my acuity hasnt changed that much since 1993.
the flashing lights and floaters have got much worse, and my visual field has totally gone and my central vision is being 'nibbled' at now.
does seem that as long as you can read the nice bold black letters, on a lit background, in a dark room...........well youre fine arent u?!?!0 -

Mine was done in 1984 lol and don't have it nor can I get it anywhere. So went to see my specialist and he wrote a letter stating my vision and I sent that to them. Hoping that will be enough. The day I had my Beautiful son is the day everything came together for me. For someone so small he done so much and made me complete.0
