if it was a matter of security, do you really think that the airport would use a two-bit clamping company? No it would be the police or the bomb squad. And if it was a suspect vehicle do you really believe the best plan would be to put it on the back of a truck and drive it through the airport?

Or put a clamp on it so it can't be moved ? ;)

It's routine to tow away vehicles in many parts of many airports for security reasons. And yes they do use two bit companies.

Remember they aren't just a clamping company, they also have a foot hold in the door with airport parking.

They are only usually clamped whilst waiting for a tow truck.

Remember they are just a clamping company, breaking the law if there's no byelaw to create statutory authority.

Yes lets keep the suspect car with a bomb in it right there. Right out of the AtoZ of the how to deal with suspect vehicles at airports :)

Right I'm bored with you now as clearly you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, you've been boring the carp out of everyone for about 12 pages of this thread. You haven't contributed anything worthwhile on here, and you haven't helped one person.

I suggest to all the regulars to just ignore this idiot, there is no point continuing this thread.

LOL, they do carry out controlled explosions on abandoned vehicles on site!

But that incident yesterday near me at Gatwick was by the Police, who do of course have authority to act.

This is getting boring now though with 'Jamie Carter' still on his wind-up mission.

You really don't understand airport security at all do you?

And you obviously still haven't read the legislation.

Parking companies wouldn't carry out controlled explosions would they?

By they can and do tow away cars under the authority of the police.
