Just shows how ignorant you really are. I actually thought you knew your subject, but had possibly missed something. But now it is plain to see that your knowledge on the subject is almost non existent. All you seem capable of doing is quoting people who are also on a crusade, and give people one line of generic advice ("just ignore it them they can't touch you"). Well how about trying to actually learn something about your chosen subject without your blinkers on.
Who the hell said that APCOA only work for councils??? I said they also work for councils. That just shows that you aren't even capable of reading posts, never mind understanding laws.
And yes airports can and do tow vehicles. And it is quite legal, so get used to it.0 -

That's out of date advice which you might know if you read the current threads on the forum rather than stay on an old one. We don't tell people to ignore any more!Jamie_Carter wrote: »Who the hell said that APCOA only work for councils???

It's not legal any more, because of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012. Again, your info is out of date but you'll see.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are not being bullied, just being called on the drivel you post here, in your arrogance you insist you are correct in everything, yet the only thing you post that you try and back up your claims, actually verifies everything that we have said all along.
You keep on insisting that byelaws are the wrong thing to look for, TRO are also wrong, and there is no legislation that covers this apart from pofa 2012, which we have already stated, but you have some imaginary thing that covers this.
So basically put up or shut up, it's quite easy, link to this mysterious thing that only you seem to know about, yet everyone else on here has never heard of it, it must be truly a remarkable piece of work. I look forward in reading about it.When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

They cannot tow on private land without lawful authority, the police can get vehicles towed, and there can be byelaws that allow it, but under pofa 2012 they cannot do so. I believe there are a number of cases pending at Luton where a private company has exceeded their authority, or in other words they are breaking the law, because unlike your fantasy world pofa 2012 is legislation.

Really?Ignore all notices and threatograms from APCOA they are well known and have never taken anyone to court.
Just for clarity ,so the OP is not confused the Luton Airport Bus Lane is a PPC invoice NOT a genuine Penalty Charge Notice.
IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE !Coupon-mad wrote: »Another new thread about APCOA about Luton Airport? A search would have found the answer, on MSE or Google APCOA Luton Airport (not 'apoca') for even more forum results elsewhere on t'internet.
There's no need for anyone to follow one thread over another - the answer is simple. IGNORE.
I could go on.Coupon-mad wrote: »

Read the links in my previous post0 -
1) the road traffic act does not apply on private land
2) relates to vehicles and roads within the airport itself
3) refers to abandoned vehicles and the road traffic act, this is still private land at Luton
4) again this refers to the road traffic act which does not apply on private roadsWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

You seem to miss the fact that I don't want people to be conned into paying fake fines either. I just want to make sure they aren't given wrong advice, which could end up costly for them.0 -

Wrong. Read them again
Barristers charge loads of money to try and convince courts that means one thing, when it actually means another. They often do this by emphasising words or paragraphs. Well lets just look at one word 'obstruction'.0 -
And how can you ensure wrong advice is not given? You don't appear to even know the difference between a penalty charge and a civil charge. So how can you be an authority on this when you have no idea what you are talking about ?When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
