A lot of last week's plan didn't get used. Somehow lots of invitations to "come round for tea" seemed to happen. Not that I'm complaining
. As a result, a lot of last weeks meals are making another appearance this week. So here is what I think we'll be having this week:
Monday: Potato waffles, baked beans, broccoli
Tuesday: Rice, lentils, chicken
Wednesday: Cottage pie
Thursday: Mushroom curry
Friday: Macaroni cheese with sweetcorn and tuna
Saturday: HM Pizza
Sunday: Out
As per usual, lunches are soups, sandwiches or leftovers and breakfast will be toast or cereal. Let's see how much of this week's menu gets carried over to next week:D. At least a lot of it is sitting in the freezer rather than going off in the fridge.:cheesy::cheesy: Cheese… milk's leap toward immortality :cheesy: :cheesy:Clifton FadimanFeb'11 - GC: £105.89/£125 - NSD: 15:jMar'11 GC: £3.84/£100 - NSD: 00 -

I'm just working on this now as my freezer contents is dwindling to a point where I know there is more than I think there is ......so I am trying to resist overfilling it again as I want to get it used up and dug out . I'm starting with what I have and I'll keep looking for inspiration on what to do with it
Monday - Liver for DP, pork loins for me
Tuesday - Sliced beef
Wednesday - Quorn mince
Thursday - Stir fry
Friday - Fish - got scallops, cod, prawns
Saturday - Sausages
Sunday - Morocaan lamb & cous cous
Ok I've just put liver for DP, I hate the stuff, he likes liver and onions do I just slice them both into strips and fry together? What sort of seasoning? Does it come with gravy.....I've literally never cooked it before, I hate the smell but I got it free so want to use it and he dislikes porkOne day I might be more organised...........

Yes. The pork goulash and herby dumplings was in last months good food magazine (in the batch cooking section so guess what I'm doing). I'll post the recipe later.Making small changes everyday....0 -

When I make it for DH I coat the liver in flour then fry with some onions. It doesn't take long to cook. I don't bother with any seasoning/spices just serve with chips (and he adds brown sauce). It's one dish I cook that I know I won't get complaints about (probably because I hardly ever cook it so it's a treat
