Well my week is going to go something like this:

Saturday - Valentine's weekend! So... L: out for a cheapish pub lunch and a couple of drinks into the afternoon.
going to look at what's in the dine in deal in the local supermarket, sadly not an M&S but they do their own version, or if we don't fancy anything from that see what else they have that we'd like.
Sunday - L: aubergine and chickpea curry, with rice and naan.

I will be batch cooking a lentil dhal, shepherdess pie and aduki bean bake so will be eating that for my main meals this week with various sides
lunch will be barley broth or carrot & cumin scones that I will bake tomorrow
also going to make some soya icecream and tofu fools for desserts
breakfast is either porridge or an alpro soya dessert
(I prefer to plan meals like this rather than allocate them to specific days)0 -
Here's my mealplan for the week (all subject to change as things are a bit up in the air):
Mon - Minced Beef & Onion Pie with Mash and Green Veggies
Tues - Black Bean Chicken with Noodles
Weds - Not Sure
Thurs - Chilli con Carne with Sauteed Potatoes
Fri - Homemade Baguette Pizzas
Sat - Jambalaya
Sun - Lamb Navarin - recipe here : http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/navarinoflamb_91968
Lunches are sandwiches or leftovers, and there are some bits of cake left as well as some mocha pot (mousse-type things) I've made which are in the freezer. I finally found a use for all the Gu ramekins I had in the cupboard! Whoo!
Have a good week, everyone.

Boodle, could you post your recipe for the green lentil pate?
Hi Arran
It's less than a recipe I'm afraid. It usually goes along the lines of this: cooked and cooled green lentils whizzed with a hand blender adding some yeast extract, extra virgin olive oil and sometimes herbs to taste, then enough water to make a spreadable consistency. It is lovely and savoury. I hope that helps.
Oh and your Carrot and Cumin Scones sound lovely! I would never have thought of cumin in with the carrots - lovely. Carrot, Black Olive and Oregano are very nice, as are Sun-Dried Tomato and Thyme too... yummy
Love and compassion to all x0 -

Could you share the recipe for the scones and soya icecream please?
