Thanks for stopping by BW. I most certainly did make some yummy food this weekend - homemade aubergine and goats cheese pizza. Then on Sunday, bbq chicken wraps - nom, nom, nom!
In other, very exciting news - my mortgage now begins with a 3! :j:j:j

Thank you BW.I finally feel that I'm getting somewhere.
Not much to report for this week. It's been another busy one at work and I've been plugging away at my coursework. I've had a fairly sociable weekend and went out to a friend's party on both Friday and Saturday night - the lucky thing had two birthday's!Other than that the weekend has been spent doing housework and coursework and I'm just sat making the most of a bit of 'me' time now.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Well i'm not impressed - it's the weekend and i've been awake since 4am because it's blowing a gale outside. Sounds very scary. I'm waiting til it's lighter to assess the damage, hopefully it sounds worse than it actually is.
Work has been manic this week but i'm feeling relieved as i've got a big meeting out of the way that has been playing on my mind since the day I arranged it. It seemed to go well and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders - the pressure we put ourselves under eh.
When I checked my account last night I found that my £50 Y0uG0v payment had gone in, plus I've had a £15 Am@zon voucher, both of which have gone into the op pot and made my op efforts for this month look a bit healthier. I also received a R@dley bag which I received from my scanning efforts. It turned up with a pricetag on - £59 :eek::eek: I'll be giving it as an xmas gift, hopefully the recipient will love it.
I'm braving the weather today and going xmas shopping. Hopefully I wont get blown away!

Thanks Lucky. It certainly was a cold one, needless to say I was back home by lunchtime. I managed to get everything I needed and am pleased to say that my Xmas shopping is nearly finished. I had a cheeky snooze on the sofa this afternoon as I felt exhausted. Feeling much better now.
Hope everyone's had a good Saturday.

Sounds like a good Saturday MG
I've also nearly finished my chrimbo shopping. I've got the last few on order and need to make one more actual trip when I get paid for the last few bits. This is quite late for me... but this year seems to have run away from me somehow
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Thanks BW
It's been so cold today that I've had the heating virtually all day. I can't believe the drastic change in weather. We have been lucky to have such mild weather so far into November though., so I can't complain too much.
I've done no coursework today, even though I've got quite a bit to do, I just couldn't face it so I've decided that I'll crack on with it next week when hopefully I'll feel a bit more enthusiastic. I have managed to make my final xmas cake today though, so it hasn't been entirely unproductive. I've also made broccoli soup for lunch along with homemade bread - yum, yum! The urge to declutter has descended upon me again, so I've listed a couple of bits on eb@y to see if I can shift them, if not I'll take them to the charity shop.
Have a good evening.

I've been having the heating on day and night, most unlike me, but I'm sick of freezing. My last last months worked out at £40 a month for gas, electric, so I reckon I'd rather spend it to be comfortable.HOME
