I have a homemade caramelised onion and goats cheese filo tart with baby spinach leaves for lunch

That sounds lovely and really puts my peanut butter sandwiches to shame! :o:rotfl:

Haha it's basically a recipe from my head that started with me being unable to afford the M & S ones (which are beautiful). I had a fit of baking on the weekend and made a big tart and also a cake for my best friend's birthday! I'm not normally this good some days I just eat a low fat bar, low fat crisps and a piece of fruit!

Ok, I'll let you off then! ;) I wonder if you could make the same sort of tart but with Feta instead of goat's cheese?

That would be lush. Feta would go really well with caramelised onions and tomatoes I'd imagine.

    I love cheese so much.

i am getting worried about my wife!! she has been gone 5 hours on a trip to ikea and my daughter has hinted that mum is not only buying office furniture but a new bedroom for her--i dont think i can cope with this continual spending because it never stops coming and we have already spent our disposable income up to the end of term in June--i am going to have to put my foot down!--i am going to refuse to open my wallet for our trip to the uk because i hate paying so much just to go home and face my mum!--its nag nag nag for a month and weather that is simular to March in Turkey!--i shall load up the car and disappear to our rental and spend cautiously!

I'd give up cheese but only because I used to be dairy intolerant and the 3 year gap in eating it made my love less strong. I think I got ill from eating loads of dairy though because I used to have 6pts of milk for just me every week and loads of cheese!!

Three whole years without cheese?

I'm lactose intolerant, but find that cheese doesn't affect me in that way for some reason.

Wifey has just come back with a truck load but happily no bedroom in sight!!--she spent 600 quid on stuff for school and the work force is here starting the job of building it all---i am going to just watch because i am a lazy b when it comes to practical stuff and too many cooks,,,,and all that!!--there are 5 of them working so i think enough to deal with 10 boxes from İkea--a nice symetrical 2 each.--i hurt my back carrying the stuff in from the delivery truck!--shall i order coffee and diminish their numbers by one!??---one of the biggest reason for this revamp of the office is because i have a 'cob' on with the secretary and she has been banished to the outer office where i dont have to see her--it has meant all change... but its worth it!!
