Glad that the insurance company are being helpfull. Sometimes they can be very hard going.
Dont get your hopes up of the police finding out who did it. Most of the time they dont. I hope that your son dose not feel to upset at having his bike stolen. Its hard for adults yet alone kids and teenages.

Crikey I never even thought about that, will this mean that my son will have to give his fingerprints? not that there is a problem with him doing that. This will be just our luck, mind you my neighbour but 1 said that they had lifted prints from their lock on sunday but they haven't got back to her to tell her if they are known prints?.Our local neighbourhood watch co ordinator has just been on the phone to see if there is anything they can do, I said that they insurance was dealing with the bike , he is going to come round tomorrow morning now and fit a new lock on the shed and sort out the security light for me.I know it sounds like the closing the stable door once the horse has bolted but least it will be done.

Not to make you sound paranoid but be wary of them returning a second time :( Most people end up replacing what was originally stolen and unless you make sure the shed is welded shut they might be back :(

Fairylittle - hugs for you, your H and your DD. You haven't let her down at all, she is a grown up and clearly you've done something right as she's realised what a !!!!!! he is xx

Tappers - Hope hospital appointment goes OK tomorrow xx

    Evening all,

happy birthday N9eav....sure you are not reading this now!

Fairy....hugs to DD...and you and OH

Uolypool....too many of these types around everywhere....feel sorry for police trying to catch them!

Hester...surely you are happy with your extra 10p per week??

    taplady....good luck to-morrow.

    JackieG...you ok pet??

JC....hope there was no problem with notice serving.

Ruby....hope that your mam will get some help when dad comes home....good that he will be out of that place.

Dinner to-night was small piece of ham cooked in coke, with cabbage, turnip and potatoes....never did it before and not sure it is worth a whole bottle of the two bottles of coke I buy every Christmas. Can't see myself using the 'stock' for soup, although Nigella says that it is good for bean soup....will think about it in the morning.

Seemed a little warmer this morning, but got colder as day went on, still it is Spring now!

Julia....will remember your birthday....it is my DGS1's 10th birthday that day. Watched the Baking made easy or whatever its called last night for first time and enjoyed it....nice relaxed baking, will watch it again.

DD3 called in for a shower this evening, they are having to retile some of the bathroom prior to letting the house so she couldn't shower there, she seems to be getting her act together very well and expects to be off to Oz in a month at most....depends on how long visa takes to come through.

Hugs to all in need or want, stay warm and sleep well

I had already thought of that so have emptied the bikes out of the shed and am leaving them in the hallway at the back of the house. Will be a bit of a squeeze getting past them, will just use the front passageway to go out off for a while. If they want to break in and take the old bbq they are more than welcome to.Nephew has said he will sleep in shed for next few night incase they come back:eek: dont think he was being serious but I kindly declined the offer. He would freeze his wotsits off out there at night;)
