    Morning ladies :j

I followed this thread last month (well most of it - I couldnt keep up at times! :rotfl:)

Anyway, I've started having second thoughts when looking at toiletries etc and thinking - do I really need any more? So some of your influence is definately rubbing off.

My weakness is probably Avon - when that book comes each month and I'm flicking through for the bargains that month and thinking "should I order that in case they discontinue it soon?" :o

Now I've got a storage box overflowing with toiletries that wont fit in the bathroom cupboard so I definately need to start using up stuff instead of buying!!!

I used to buy from Avon quite a bit, shampoo (which I did use and like) but then various foot things, a few bits of make up, some gifts etc.

Then a couple of years ago when I did the first 100 days not buying a certain thing challenge (which for me was cosmetics) I stopped looking, the catalogue comes and gets left by the front door and then put out the next week - I don't even look in it anymore.

Pads for the puppy to wee on :o Think Tena Lady for dogs :rotfl:

I have a sick dog :( (not so much a puppy anymore mind :p) and he's fine when there is someone at home to let him out for a wee every hour but for night-times and when we go out during the day he is litter box trained. Puppy pads are very useful!

We don't use cat litter as it gets tracked through the house - we put a small puppy pad in the tray and a large one underneath (for spills and misses :o) and it just gets whisked away, bagged up and thrown in the bin. No mess, No fuss and no smell :T

(was that what you were expecting? - or did you think it was some kind of super soft cotton pads for your face :p :rotfl: I can almost hear your brain going 'oooh! new product!! :D)

Try making your own before buying. For face you can use sugar mixed with some body cream, cream cleanser or lotion. If it's too thick add face wash. Make a small amount to see if you like it. Easy and helps to reduce stash!

I've just rounded up all my toileteries and I'm feeling abit embarrassed. It's like I have some sort of compulsion.
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.
  • I'm in for this month too. Had a bad finish to January with a few things bought, so should be okay for this month. New deodorant, hair dye, panty liners, foundation, hair spray, so sorted there. Shower gel, soap, handcream, cleansers - plenty in stash. Go us!!
