especially as will count my ins for January as I ordered them then :D

OOOh! I can do that with my S&G stuff when it arrives - I paid for it in January :D:D
also opened an enormous 1litre bottle of Great Hair conditioner today only to discover that the pump is broken and the product is pants, grrr:mad:

use it to shave your legs :rotfl: Is it the big purple bottle? I think I got one years ago and mixed it with a tube of manuka honey cream I got real cheap. Decanted it into posh bottles and gave it away as gifts - my SIL told me later that she was using it sparingly as it was the best conditioner she'd ever used :o

Another few UU's for me and a couple of IN's I forgot about -

    UU's
Nivea Shower Creme - just a small bottle I got with a gift set last year. WIBA? No. I liked it but the bottle was so thick it was really difficult to get anything out and I only got one useage out of it as had to swill it with water just to get it moving. Made the bath water really soft though :D
Primark Hand Cream - can't remember the 'brand' but got it in 2009 sale 3 for 50p :p WIBA? NO! Remembered why I stopped using it - was far too perfumed and dried my hands out rather than moisturised them  Squirted the dregs of all three tubes into my 'splutters graveyard' bottle :D

    IN's:
Batiste Dry Shampoo x 3 - can't remember what flavours off the top of my head
Homemade Body Sugar Scrub :T Took 50mls of Aromatherapy Carrier Oil (left over from my 'night before the wedding' gift set my mum gave me to help me relax :p) added 150grms of granulated sugar and a few drops of BS Vanilla Perfume Oil (which I've had for years :o) Smells amazing and works really well. Kinda glad I didn't buy the BS Scrub I was thinking of getting.

Have checked everything and shouldn't need to buy anything in Feb except roll on deo (almost spluttering) and maybe a hand cream (but am going to use cocoa butter for now and see if that works for me) - I will do it this month :D

    (snipped)
It's in a big white bottle with pink writing - it has more of a shampoo consistency IYKWIM- think I will use it for shaving legs, bubblebath, showergel, cleaning the bathroom - anything but on my hair!:rotfl:
  • I'm in again. Had lots of UU in Jan for me but still have a massive stash, sorted through it and wrapped up all the soaps etc now which has given me a good idea of what have so hopefully no spending too. Managed ok in Jan but that's probably because my sale shopping gets done on Boxing Day hehe
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • I'm in! Am really pleased that my stash is going down and I'm using the products for their actual purpose instead of just sitting in a drawer slowly going off.

Best wishes to you, Roshy. I guess in these tough times we could all do with a bit of cutting back and getting our financial houses in order.

Ooh, that's a cheery thought to start the month. I think I need to go and do some pampering.

Today's Mantra: "I will avoid Boots when I go to town - I do not need anything - NO! Not even from the S&G 342 Offer - It WILL be back! I will also stay out of BS - I do not need to pop in 'just to see if the BOGOF sale is still on'" :D

And on that note .... can anyone recommend a good pair of thin cotton gloves - the ones I got with the S&G Hand/Foot gift set at xmas are fine but (a) the seams are a bit skewiff so are uncomfortable to wear for long and (b) have been chewed on by the dog :rotfl:

Thanks - and good morning :D

  • thank you for your kind messages :) just playing the guessing game but I think it means that my aims in my sig will be out for a while :rotfl:

Sarah*a just saw your diagnosis, i'm glad that you have found out what it is, and have a doctor that doesn't dismiss that illness, as I know some do, I hope you can decide to do the best course for you and your family :)

no use ups yet but second job tonight so no pampering will be done!x
  • :D I can report NO SPEND in January - go me!

    3 UU
Philosophy Microdelivery Peel Hydrating Face Mask - would I use again, definately left me skin feeling refreshed and soft, WIBA probably not as I assume it is quite pricy I think I got this as part of a QVC set.

Boots P&P serum - got another to use - will try to be consistent in my use so I can decide if I would buy again

Lush Dreamtime bath melt - WIBA yes leave my skin lovely and soft.

Got quite a few sputterers on the go which I am hoping to get used up this month

I think now is a good time for me to join this thread as i have been following since April 2010 and my stash has been steadily growing since then. I had never even heard of S&G until following this thread, now I have 2 storage boxes full of the stuff!!!!:rotfl:

I do read about other peoples stash and get massive stash envy!
But really need to concentrate on saving up so must learn to be a mse :money:

2 storage boxes... OMG, we are a bad influence!!! :rotfl: p.s. don't have stash envy - I envy those people who only have one of each thing and can fit their entire toiletry collection onto their dressing table! That is my aim. :D

    :rotfl: Great mantra!

I have the No7 cotton gloves and they are lovely, but perhaps wait till the next No7 voucher to get them? If you can't wait I'm sure someone will be along with a recommendation soon xoxo

My skin feels super soft today, must be all the attention it's getting. I try to use as many scrubs and body butters as poss during winter... I use those fake-tan-body-lotions in summer so can't do scrubs and butters quite as often or I would rub the golden glow off! :o I think that Curves is doing me good as well. I'm going to go as often as I can between now and hols (only 4.5 weeks away now eek!). I'm also trying to eat as healthily as I can but of course the extra exercise has increased my appetite.

I have lots of splutterers on the go atm, it's so frustrating! :rotfl: I'm at the 'cutting open' stage with a few as well. Looking forward to lots of UUs in Feb! :T

    Have a good day everyone.
