Thanks, I have an assessment day for a job I am dying to get on Friday but don't want to get my hopes up(!). This is the final part of the process as I've passed all the other interviews and tests etc. It is a complete career change but the skills needed are the same ones that I use currently in my soon-to-be ex-job.
They have told me that it will consist of a 45min personal interview, a 45min interview regarding the role, job shadowing for a bit and a project within a group (they are accepting about 20 people for the intake from this day) relating to the job, so very scary! I hope it goes well but I do believe everything happens for a reason so perhaps my being made redundant is the thing I needed0 -
oh !!!!!! roshy - hope you find something soon xxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

Hi everyone :j
Hadn't realised we were starting February yet - but count me in.
Didn't do too well last month  but am really serious about this month especially as will count my ins for January as I ordered them then
Thanks to those who spotted bargains - I have made use of some of them and now should have plenty of stuff in my stash to not have to buy for a while - my aim is at least 3 months :rotfl:
Good luck with searching for a new job Roshydoshy. I am also on the lookout for something part time - to fit around my Nursing shifts. I try to do Agency at the weekends (usually nights) but don't always get the shifts.
Good Luck to all for February0 -
Awww sorry to hear your news Roshy - and of course good luck for Friday! I am a great believer in all things happening for a reason, I've been made redundant several times but can honestly say that each time in the long run what seemed like a disaster in the first instance turned out to lead onto better things.
I'm definitely back in again this month - I really can't imagine being without this thread now! I'm posting my stash list again so I know where to find it...

I'm in again for February, and considering my shameful spends in January I'm pretty sure I can make it thru 28 days without buying much. Possible needs will be deodorant, foundation and hair dye. I also have a bid on some Insolence EDT on eBay that finishes tomorrow, I'm half hoping I don't win0

New thread yay! Happy February to me, Happy February to me, is Spring really coming?, Happy February to me! :A
No ins, hurrah.
No use ups, well I have a couple of things spluttering:
L'oreal collagen day cream - wiba no. I thought I would about a month ago but I now realise that as long as I buy my Clarins cleansers at gift with purchase time, I usually get 2 or 3 rich moisturisers, plenty to keep me going. So not for me, nice stuff but I can tell the difference between this and a Clarins product (ooh such a snob!).
Timotei shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair - wiba yes, if I remain with blonde bits! Finally found a shampoo that doesn't make my hair feel matted. I could probably live without the conditioner but it's ok. I'm getting very tempted by all this Elastiser talk as my hair does need something more intense.
I didn't buy a pink lipgloss (yay me) and I haven't tried the S&G one from the tote bag (is it any good?). I have a MUA (£1 range from Superdrug) lipstick that is filling that pink lipglossy gap.
Right it's night-night time. Off for a cleanse (hey Sarah you've inspired us all to pamper ourselves) and stuff. Happy pamperingDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Ooooh hello shiny new thread!!
Count me in too gals, probably for the next 10 years!
I have had a good evening - long hot shower with S&G Sugar Crush scrub, then Clinique body butter... bliss! Now in my jammies relaxing before bed! I've been packing up eBay stuff for posting... 'tis a pain in the bum and quite time-consuming but I have done sooo well this month, can't complain! Must update my savings in my sig tomorrow! :T
I am really going for ZERO spend in Feb... I have loads of EVERYTHING and I don't need anything at all, nowt, nada, rien, from toothpaste to pantyliners to night cream to mascara to face masks!!!! :j

Oh roshydoshy, sorry to hear about your job but it's great that you're taking a philosophical approach (I believe that everything happens for a reason too, and that 'what's for you won't pass you' as they say here in Ireland). I really really hope you get the job you're going for, I have my fingers crossed for you xoxoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Apart from the Boots sale (which I don't count as it's all presents) I don't think I bought anything last month, apart from some muslin cloths to use up the Boots £5 N07 vouchers which don't count by dint of not being able to rub into your skin (and that was a decidedly Top Tip from someone on here - can't remember who, but thanks anyway as I needed some more! :T).
Now that I've set up the challenge in my signature, I feel much more focused and happy that I'm getting rid of things and creating space, especially as I want to go organic once I've got rid of everything.
It'll only take me, oooh, two years or so to get through all this stuff.
And Roshy, sorry about your job - very best of luck for that job that you want on Friday. :T :T :T :T :TPlease call me 'Pickle'
