    Eye make up remover - L’Oreal; Clinique.(HG L’Oreal)

:money:My Holy Grail (HG) list, used up regularly and bought at the best MSE time::money:
    Clarins Cleansers
    Dermologica exfoliants
    Body Shop seaweed moisturiser SPF
    Clinique spot clearing gel

Best of luck everyone and someone said on the January thread (arrrgh cannot remember the name sorry), that for every £50 we splurge, WASTE, on stuff we don't need - totals £600 in a year:eek:. Now that's a lovely holiday or a big dent in debt.

My goals for February are simple:
    - to target using up my make up stash (bronzer in particular)
    - to positively swim in body butters/creams/lotions (swimming the Channel will be a doddle!)
    - to carry on the pink rose candle philosophy of not saving anything for best but for using now, today, this very minute.

    :A
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.
 Fab thread: Long daily walks

I'm in again too, hoping not to buy anything or at least improve on last month's spend. Can't think of anything at the moment I actually need to buy, but occasionally still tempted by the odd bargain:o

Sofababe, Insolence is my all time favourite perfume, currently have 1 bottle on the go and 1 box in reserve, bought for me by my DS/DD last birthday. This is one thing I cant resist when I see at a bargain price, but thankfully not seen it cheap for a while, is on my want list for my birthday, just in case.

Good luck with the job hunting roshy.

Hi I am definitely in for this month. I have had a bit of bad news today and found out that I am getting made redundant (I was half expecting this, hence me applying for jobs for the past month or so) so I really need to keep expenditure down and fingers crossed I find something quickly.

    Good luck this month girls!x

Oh Roshy I do hope it goes well for you on Friday xx

Well my Jan spend grand total is £21.17 spent on a No7 Day Cream, 4 x 500ml Listerine mouthwash and L'Oreal eye make up remover.

Like most of you I am hoping for a ZERO spend in February.

    Fingers crossed ladies :)

count me in again for February, and this time there will be NO spending! (thank goodness the Glamour clinique freebie is in March:rotfl:)

I had a uu today but not sure if I can count it as it's still January? - a simple face wash, I love this but won't be buying again until I make a bit of a dent in my stash, I'm trying to decide between using sanctuary microbrasion cleanser or cracking open my elemis cleansing melt, hmnn, decisions, decisions.....

also opened an enormous 1litre bottle of Great Hair conditioner today only to discover that the pump is broken and the product is pants, grrr:mad:

roshydoshy- sorry to hear about your job, & good luck on Friday, here's hoping it works out even better for you, xx

I'm in again this month, in January I spent £6.50 and used about £13 of boots points, I didn't count exactly what I used up, but it was at least 5 things and I threw out lots of old make up and sold a few bits on Ebay too.

This month I'm going to continue with trying to wear make up every day, makes me feel much better when I do, and continue with regular use of other cosmetics too. Also being aware of what I own and so if there are offers/I'm out shopping and I see things I know whether I really need things.

Thanks :) , I have an assessment day for a job I am dying to get on Friday but don't want to get my hopes up(!). This is the final part of the process as I've passed all the other interviews and tests etc. It is a complete career change but the skills needed are the same ones that I use currently in my soon-to-be ex-job.

They have told me that it will consist of a 45min personal interview, a 45min interview regarding the role, job shadowing for a bit and a project within a group (they are accepting about 20 people for the intake from this day) relating to the job, so very scary! I hope it goes well but I do believe everything happens for a reason so perhaps my being made redundant is the thing I needed :o

Sounds rather like my assessment day that really turned out to be an induction day. X fingers.

I remember having a group interview for a college job, I was so convinced this ultra confident woman with far better quals than me had got it .... then I walked into the solo interview and an old boss of mine whom I loved to bits was on the interview panel. I did enjoy that job.... :D
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • I think now is a good time for me to join this thread as i have been following since April 2010 and my stash has been steadily growing since then. I had never even heard of S&G until following this thread, now I have 2 storage boxes full of the stuff!!!!:rotfl:

I do read about other peoples stash and get massive stash envy!
But really need to concentrate on saving up so must learn to be a mse :money:

Hi I will join in this month also, but I do have 2 gift cards to use from Christmas so may end up getting something skincare wise. I do need some more rosehip oil and possibly some sort of serum (A) as I am almost of my Ultraceuticals Vit A serum and they have changed the formula so am not sure if I will like it as much. At a pinch the rosehip oil by itself may do as I do have a vitamin AC mask which I leave on as an overnight treatment once a week. A clay mask is also needed but i may buy the ingredients and do it myself, oh and I also need some more goats milk soap- I am not going without this no matter how much soap I have stashed.

I would also like to get a new cleanser but am going to wait until I finish at least one more before purchasing(hmm I also need to try out OCM). I also would love to repurchase moo goo double facial moisturiser as my skin just drank this up and loved it, but I do need to finish another couple of moisturisers unfortunately;) This is even after giving away a fair whack of my stash at xmas time to my mum and niece.

UU- prai silk moisturiser sample. WIBA? no probably not, it was very nice but I am going back to my moo goo for my night time moisturiser when I need some.

UU- jericho dead sea clay mask sample. WIBA? possibly depending on the price as it was quite effective but i am not paying a fortune on a clay mask.

Spluttering- palmers concentrated cream and hamiltons 30+daily face.

Roshy gl with the job hunting.

Pickles just wondering are you also going organic with clothing, bedding etc?
