In Aldi i found a shampoo which i looked at and thought "that looks like the Nizoral packaging" so i picked one up for £2.49 for 100ml (i think). Sounds sad but when my excema breaks out it helps, and i've had a look online and it IS the same stuff but just under it's generic name. The trade marked stuff is over a tenner for the same size bottle. Now i know it is the same stuff i will be popping back to get a couple more bottles because we all know they're unlikely to get it back in again as it's one of their random special items.
I do feel sad that everyone else is out there splashing on lovely smelling things from very posh companies and i'm declaring something so mundain and sad as an IN.
The other side effect is that i will be able to balance my conditioner bottles for a justifiable reason which will get me over that little OCD.Many people suffer sensitive scalps and stuff and will find this info useful. My OH is very lucky in that the GP prescribes this and we have a pre payment certificate for prescriptions.

However, I did put a load of stuff into an online Avon basket and then CLOSED THE PAGE!!!!! I wanted a purple mascara so does anyone know of a decent, reasonably priced one?
Roshy, best of luck for the job outcome, when will you hear? Fingers crossed for you!
I had only shampoo and conitioner ins today - these aren't included in my plan or stash as I have this generally under control. They were Timotei from Wilkinsons for 98p each - its the colour variety, I tried the golden highlights one last time and liked that.
I need to go shopping in my stash:
- body lotion, I think I'll go for an Avon tub.
- might also dig out one of my face masks to use too.
Countered some of that No7 mini gift spend by giving away half of the bits and the bag. Don't rate the No7 lip gloss though, I will give it a few more chances.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Since I posted earlier I spoke to my daughter who works for Aldi and she confirmed that it will be back, it's a really popular product with many people buying 3 or 4 bottles.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
One more UU to report. Clarins Beauty flash balm, received as a freebie, I couldn't see any difference using this product and in the end used up as a hand cream so definetely wont be buying again.

Funny you bought the Liz Earle TSV and resisted the Avon -the Liz Earle range is now fully owned by Avon -didn't know till recently but would love to see it in the Avon Books at a much more affordable price say 3 items for £10:) Had a nosey around and found this MSE thread on it from last year https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2382515
BTW would love to know what you think thevicster of the new LE shampoo and conditioner as when I get to the end of my stash the LE is the one I would love to try!0 -
If you hear the sound of cries - it's me. It's official the Collection 2000 Powder Mineral foundation has been discontinued. Sniff. Can't believe it. It's my HG. I am devastated!!!!

evening all :hello:
hope you've had a good weekend,
I am feeling slightly ashamed of myself and my hoarding ways! My DD (14 soon) decided to declutter her make up stash -while it has been built mostly from presents from friends and family and freebies (teen magazines always seem to give away some sort of cosmetic) she has also bought some with her pocket money. Anyway, she decided to do a cull and OMG was she ruthless - 'I don't need that, I'll never wear that, that's old/horrible,' you get the picture.
Why oh why can't I do the same? I have bucket loads of cosmetics which in all probability will never be anywhere near my face but are too old to give to anyone? Why am I keeping them?0
