    Evening ladies... :o

    Eek! Rumbled!!! :rotfl:

Yes, I do have a confession (see below). :o

p.s. well done on resisting the bargains!!

OK, so I did buy MB stuff, but hear me out!! I bought 2x £10 gift cards, a £25 gift card and got a free Cempaka shower gel and free sample - total £45 (couldn't face paying £4.95 for postage so bumped up my order). I will eBay the shower gel, free sample and £25 gift card and should make close to £45 on those. Therefore, the 2x £10 gift cards will have been more or less free! I also got 2 copies of the Times and will buy myself a papain exfoliator and a skinpure cleanser for free! And I will have £1 left on a MB gift card. :rotfl:

I know, it's still an IN :o but I have been longing to try both of these products and this is the cheapest way to do it.

I am going to sit on the naughty step, I may be some time... :rotfl:

I am going to have to join you Tara - where were you when I decided to go for the LE set - used Quidco and got some cashback :T So many people have said it is very good so wanted to try it - but didn't know it was Avon now.

Didn't go for the MB deal tho but looks like you have done well, Tara.

Seriously though I really need to STOP BUYING  I need to save and this is not helping. However it would seem I have more stuff then I need now so no more excuses :o
  • I have few UUs and Outs to report

    UUs:j

Bodyshop cranberry hand cream - WNBA. It was too strong for me and I didn't like smelling like a giant cranberry
Colgate Total Toothpaste - WIBA? Yes and no. I just buy whatever is on offer. Though there are sufficient in the stash at the moment so definitely not in the near future

    Outs (Binned) :o

    1. Maybelline Color defined Shadow stick - WNBA - It never worked for me as it would not glide smoothly so I was worried that it would stretch my skin
    2. MUA nail paint in shade 18 - WNBA - I am not a big fan of MUA range. I don't think it was worth even £1 that I paid for it
    3. Revlon Eye Shadow trio - WNBA - Was not pigmented at all
    4. Loreal 1 minute nail paint - WIBA - Lovely colour and very good coverage even with 1 coat. I had bought it from £land but never seen it again
    5. Collection 200 hot looks mail varnish in black. WNBA - It was okay but nothing special and took a long time to dry. I had to bin it as I am not able to open it because it's dried

I am doing a list of my stash so will post it soon.

I have not bought anything at all in January and hope to do the same in Feb

Funny you bought the Liz Earle TSV and resisted the Avon -the Liz Earle range is now fully owned by Avon -didn't know till recently but would love to see it in the Avon Books at a much more affordable price say 3 items for £10:) Had a nosey around and found this MSE thread on it from last year https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2382515

BTW would love to know what you think thevicster of the new LE shampoo and conditioner as when I get to the end of my stash the LE is the one I would love to try!

Weird that! I'd forgotten that Avon had bought her out. Will let you know about the shampoo and conditioner, I'm dying to try out the Cleanse and Polish as I've heard so many good things about it!

Since I posted earlier I spoke to my daughter who works for Aldi and she confirmed that it will be back, it's a really popular product with many people buying 3 or 4 bottles.

thanks i hadn't seen it there before and am used to not being able to find things when i really need them. I did notice that it had a use by date for later in this year so i may just try and pick up one more bottle if i get there
Had a bit of a tidy up today and OH found a bottle of Avon senses bubble bath with about half an inch left in it. It must be 3 years old because i remember decanting it into a hand wash bottle. Think i'll give it a go as a shower gel to get rid of it.

However, I did put a load of stuff into an online Avon basket and then CLOSED THE PAGE!!!!! I wanted a purple mascara so does anyone know of a decent, reasonably priced one?

2True (Superdrug) do purple mascaras, I love them (and the blue). 3 for £5 and if you have a SD receipt and do the feedback survey you can get 3 for £3.75!!! :T

My £3 off Santuary voucher from my Christmas gift set is still safely in my purse. If I can get through Feb, gonna treat myself on 1 march with it! :T Hoping I can combine it with some other offer....not sure what?

You could use it with the £5 skincare voucher to get £8 off something... but that expires on 22 Feb. Dilemma!!!!!!! :rotfl:

Hello everyone *waves*...I've been lurking for the past couple of days reading this thread and have been inspired to sign up and post! I don't have a huge stash (no where near as impressive as some on here!) but I am a sucker for buying new products when I have plenty of old ones left, mainly make up and moisturisers... I'm just longing for that miracle potion that will give me a flawless complexion!

In the spirit of the challenge I'm going to have a bath tonight and try and use up some of my stash, and then I'm going to tackle the drawer of forgotten toiletries!
Hi everyone! I have just found this thread, so hoping to join in! I haven't bought any toiletries so far this month. :)

:T:beer::j:dance:Welcome to the gang my lovelies!! :j:beer::T
    evening all :hello:

hope you've had a good weekend,

I am feeling slightly ashamed of myself and my hoarding ways :o! My DD (14 soon) decided to declutter her make up stash -while it has been built mostly from presents from friends and family and freebies (teen magazines always seem to give away some sort of cosmetic) she has also bought some with her pocket money. Anyway, she decided to do a cull and OMG was she ruthless - 'I don't need that, I'll never wear that, that's old/horrible,' you get the picture.

Why oh why can't I do the same? I have bucket loads of cosmetics which in all probability will never be anywhere near my face but are too old to give to anyone? Why am I keeping them?

On the flip side, I feel bad that my daughter has so many products on the go and feel as if I have infected her! She says she keeps things that she knows she'll probably never use, "Just in case", because it cost money, because it was a gift, or because it looks pretty.

We're swapping bedrooms in the summer hols so she's on a bit of a mission to finish things up before then. I fear it will be me who has to be ruthless with her stash though....

I told her all about Pink Rose Candle Philosophy too, because she is a terror for using a black eye liner she doesn't really like everyday and "saving" the one she loves.

P.S. LemonTree Thanks for the generic Nizoral tip my lovely! :T I have already passed that info on to at least four people I know will be jolly excited about it!

P.P.S. Day 37. No spends so far. :j

Will stay on a bit longer (naughty step) as feel so bad.........:rotfl:

Looking forward to trying the new stuff out tho' - but it is not being sent out until the end of the month - so.... if I get it in March, will it count as March and not Feb :rotfl:

Also hopefully by the end of the month will have had a chance to Use up loads more stuff - Yay!!
  • Oh no I have one of these yoghurt things in black cherry!! Not a great review :rotfl:

Guess I won't rush to use mine!

Sorry MS, I wouldn't have dug it out if I didn't see the newly packaged ones in the Avon book. I suppose they are ok if you weren't planning to get dressed and go out, otherwise its awful. I must add though that I am quite sparing with my lotions and use as little as possible so that may give you an indication. However I can't be sure when it was purchased and it may have just 'turned' but it was some freaky stuff :rotfl:
