No Buying Toiletries in February Challenge

Thanks Juliebunny, No I didn't see meditainment link. Would you mind posting it again. I am feeling better now after my shower did a scalp mask, face mask and exfoliation. I am feeling on edge because of work which is so not me at all. I am feeling really overwhelmed but will try to remind myself next week that all I can do is my best and really prioritise work.
Hope you will sleep better tonight. Perhaps a cup of herbal tea will help before going to bed. The wind kept me awake last night as well. Hopefully the weather will soon calm down. I am off for a walk soon, just to get some fresh air.
Take care.
Hi Becky, I got dragged out for an hours walk in a gale force wind today after declaring I wasn't allowed near the shops (was only a jooooooke!!)
Here is the meditainement link: http://www.meditainment.com/free-guided-meditation/the-secret-garden/enter/
This isn't the sleep one, I got that from a daily mail offer years ago. It's a DVD not CD so I can't copy it but try the relaxation one. There was another sleep CD in one of last weeks papers too. Can't remember which, doh!
Oooh you are right about the teas - I've got a sleep tea at the back of the cupboard somewhere I got from Holland and Barrett ages ago and it does work.
My £3 off Santuary voucher from my Christmas gift set is still safely in my purse. If I can get through Feb, gonna treat myself on 1 march with it! :T Hoping I can combine it with some other offer....not sure what?Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
:j OMG 23 pages already! Not long backf rom my holiday, took quite a few mini products and so I have several UUs, none really spectacular, mostly freebies I'd picked up at hotels or small bottles of shampoo and shower gel that I'd used up and the decanted into them.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend, now to start on the 23 pages!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I went to use my eye cream the other night and it seemed to be more watery than it usually is when the cream has separated slightly. I don't know whether to keep using it or take another out of the stash.
It was my birthday on Friday and one of the girls I work for gave me some shower gel, body scrub and body lotion from Dirty Works which apparently is exclusive to Sainsburys. The packaging is very similar to S&G so hopefully they will be nice products to use and if I like them, when I eventually get round to using them, will be a cheaper alternative to S&G, although am still yet to find out how much they cost.
Have to admit to being a bit naughty yesterday and ordering the LE TSV. I thought I would treat myself as 1) it was my birthday and 2) it was basically the cost of the C&P, tonic and moisteriser and the other items would have been free. It would have been rude not too and I didn't succumb to her TSV before Christmas.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

What I do when her TSV comes round is to see whether I need any of her products. Atm I had enough C&P and moisturiser to last me a while. I need some of the tonic but it was only a small size and the other products I didn't really need. Don't know if u ebay but I would ebay the other products to make some of the money back.
I bought one of the Tresemme Conditioners 900ml size last week as I had run out of conditioner. Never tried it before, I normally use Charles Worthington but this works out much cheaper and its pretty good. I always need quite alot of conditioner so I don't feel too guilty. When I run out of shampoo in the next few weeks I will be trying their shampoos too. Just noticed that you can't unscrew the lid though, wanted to put a pump on it and can't.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -

Pampering session with a long soak in the bath this afternoon following a long walk with the dog.
Could have had a UU, but instead decided on a (nearly) PRC choice Seaweed Dead Sea Spa body wash and body butter - 3rd favourite from stash - I'm still working up to the favourite, I just don't want it to be all gone.
Another shop at Mr T without diversion through the "dangerous" aisles, so stash remains as was;)Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.

UU, Avon strawberry yogurt lotion, wiba no. Now I know why the called it a yogurt, it doesn't sink in, has an awfuul texture and the smell isn't quite strawberry. I am glad it was a buy X get ths for £1.
Now the body shop offerDoes anyone know how long the tokens last for? Do they have a time limit? I have always wanted to try some of thier strawberry shower gel and body lotion and if I can get them a bit discounted it would be great

A few UU's for me this week
- 1 x travel size showel gel
- 1 x travel size shampoo
- 1 x full size Wella Colour Protect conditioner - WIBA? no, it was nice enough but is pricey in shops, this was a freebie from a magazine subscription.
- 1 x Tesco FF baby wipes - WIBA? yes, it's a HG of wipes! Great for taking off make-up when I'm too lazy to cleanse properly!
- 1 x Nice & Easy Non Drip Foam Hair Dye - WIBA? maybe, it did dripbut it's a nice colour, and lovely conditioner with it.
